    Abstract: A method of fabricating a semiconductor device includes forming a plurality of line element on a provided substrate. The plurality of line elements includes a first line element having a first region having a first width and a biased region having a second width. The second width different than the first width. Spacer elements are then formed abutting sidewalls of each of the plurality of line elements including the biased region where the spacer elements may be shifted. After forming the spacer elements, the plurality of line elements from the substrate are removed from the substrate. An underlying layer is etched using the spacer elements after removing the plurality of line elements.

    Abstract: A method of planar imaging on semiconductor chips using focused ion beam includes the initial step of disposing at least a positioning symbol to designate a testing area. A metal membrane is positioned on the testing area. The testing chip is trimmed to form a first testing chip. A blind opening is cut proximate to the testing area on the first testing chip forms a second testing chip. The second testing chip is mounted on an inclinable platform. The mounted second testing chip is rotated with the inclinable platform. Ion beams are emitted into the opening at an angle of inclination. Ion beams are emitted in the direction of the incident ray to form planar images of different depths parallel to the metal membrane on the testing area.

    Abstract: An emergency stop device for a band saw includes a brake member moveable between a standby position and an active position where the brake member firmly urges and stops a running wheel of the band saw, around which a band saw blade is looped. When the emergency stop device is started, the retainer is separated apart from the brake member for enabling the brake member to move by an actuation of a spring member from the standby position to the active position so as to stop the cutting motion of the band saw blade.
