    Abstract: An EM testing method includes forcing electrical current through EM monitor wiring arranged in close proximity to the perimeter of the TSV and measuring an electrical resistance drop across the EM monitor wiring. The method may further include determining if an electrical short exists between the EM monitor wiring and the TSV from the measured electrical resistance. The method may further include determining if an early electrical open or resistance increase exists within the EM monitoring wiring due to TSV induced proximity effect.

    Abstract: A smartphone-based telephone translation system includes a translation machine that starts a call translation process when the call translation is set to ON. The system detects an incoming call or dials, translates a voice signal to obtain a translation text for the ON call state. The voice signal of the caller is received and recognized. A voice signal is translated to obtain a translation text for the ON call state. The localized voice signal is recognized, using a TTS machine to obtain a reply voice signal and sent to the caller. The system performs voice recognition and text translation on the call voice, translates the language into localized language, and performs the function of calling between different languages in real time, so as to realize a telephone communication between two persons speaking different languages. The system supports communication with a hearing-impaired person or deaf-mute person.

Control of a wireless device includes detecting when a turn on signal is issued to a first radio system, and then controlling the second radio system to either modify the operation of receiver circuitry in the second radio system to protect components within that system, or modify transmit circuitry to stop transmissions for protecting components within one radio system potentially affected by transmission from the other radio system in the wireless device. Disclosed also is monitoring of transmission states of the radio systems based on reading messages between the first and second radio systems and issuing a notification message based thereon such that one of the radio systems may suspend monitoring of a transmit channel for permission to transmit in order to reduce power consumption due to such monitoring of the channel.
