The present disclosure is directed to providing an apparatus and method for alternative aeration-effluent wastewater treatment, which allows the aeration and treated water to continuously discharge through two intermittent aeration tanks by independently forming an air injection line and a treated water discharge line at a ceramic membrane provided in each intermittent aeration tank.

More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition for skin whitening comprising a lignan-type compound or an extract of nutmeg or aril of nutmeg comprising the same. Because the lignan compound represented by Chemical Formulas 1 to 3 or the extract of nutmeg or aril of nutmeg has superior skin whitening activity by inhibiting melanin production and tyrosinase activity, it can be used for the preparation of a cosmetic composition, food composition or pharmaceutical composition for skin whitening.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for discriminating sitosterolemia by simultaneously measuring relative concentrations of phytosterol and cholesterol metabolism-related compounds in a blood spot on the paper. According to the present disclosure, sitosterolemia may be quickly discriminated with high accuracy by simple sample collecting using a trace amount of blood spot stained on a paper, and it may be used for newborn screening and preschool children, particularly patients with xanthoma.

More particularly, it relates to a method for preventing or treating an inflammatory disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of macelignan represented by Chemical Formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The lignan compound has the effect of inhibiting inflammatory reactions by inhibiting the production or expression of inflammation mediators NO, iNOS, PGE2, COX-2 and TNF-? and by treating or preventing inflammatory disease in vivo. More particularly, the invention relates to an antibacterial composition against acne-causing bacteria, containing lignan compounds represented by Formula 1, as well as a method for treating acne using the same. The lignan compounds represented by Formula 1 are excellent not only in the antibacterial activity of inhibiting the growth of acne-causing bacteria, but also in thermal stability. Accordingly, the lignan compounds may be useful as antibacterial agents against the acne-causing bacteria, and acne treatment agents.

Accordingly, it is possible to quickly search and reproduce a start part of a broadcast program which is currently recorded.

Coordinates of a captured ground mark are obtained based on the image data. A preset Look-Up Table (LUT) is corrected using errors between the coordinates of the captured ground mark and coordinates of a preset reference mark. The ground mark and the reference mark may respectively have four or more corresponding correction points.
