Abstract: The present invention relates to a water-filter mounting structure for a refrigerator. A water-filter mounting structure for a refrigerator according to the present invention comprises a filter receiving section provided below a dispenser that is mounted at a door for selectively opening and closing a storage space and discharges water or ice to the outside; and a water filter mounted in the filter receiving section to purify water supplied from a water supplying source. According to the present invention, there are advantages in that it is possible to minimize reduction in a storage capacity, loss in cold air and damage to the water filter and to improve product compatibility.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a rendering apparatus and method for a real-time 3D ultrasound diagnostic system, which can improve both the speed of rendering in a real-time manner 3D ultrasonic images and 2D ultrasonic images therefrom, based on the view operation for displaying ultrasonic images for a target object and the speed of scanning and converting 3D data.

Abstract: This invention relates to an inhibitor of lead-induced stress corrosion cracking including nickel boride in the secondary side of steam generator tubes in nuclear power plants and an inhibition method using the same, and more particularly, to an inhibitor of lead-induced stress corrosion cracking, in which nickel boride is added to secondary side cooling water of the steam generator in an amount of 0.2˜6 g/l, and to an inhibition method using the same. According to this invention, when the inhibitor of lead-induced stress corrosion cracking is added to the secondary side of the steam generator tube in nuclear power plants, stress corrosion cracking of the tubes, which occurs in the lead-containing neutral or caustic solution, and a crack growth rate are decreased, thus increasing elongation. Further, a stress corrosion cracking ratio is decreased, and therefore the stress corrosion cracking resistance of metal or alloy can be improved.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention may provide an image processing system and method for calculating the volume of a specific portion in a targeted body. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an image processing system may comprise a volume data receiver, a user interface, a display and a main processor. The volume data receiver may form volume data of a target object based on image data thereof. The user interface may receive reference section information on a reference section of the target object, slice section information on a plurality of slice sections each being perpendicular to the reference section and contour information from a user. The display may form an image of the reference section and images of the slice sections based on the volume data. The main processor may set a reference sectional object and slice sectional objects based on the reference section information and the slice section information, respectively.

In the present invention, the dispenser is provided in a concave portion of a door to be exposed toward a front surface of the door. A water tank is installed between a rear surface of the dispenser and a door liner defining a rear surface of the door. The water tank stores the water delivered from an external water supply source while the water in maintained at a relatively low temperature and then discharges the water to the outside through the dispenser. Furthermore, in the present invention, a nozzle, through which the water is discharged from the water tank, is directly connected to a drainpipe of the dispenser, so that users may always take out the water maintained at a constant temperature.
