    Abstract: An eyeglasses temple includes an end connector, a position sleeve, a spring, a screw, a housing and a metal temple combined together. The end connector to be combined with a lens frame has a rear square portion fitting in a front cavity of the sleeve. The screw has a front threaded portion screwing with a threaded hole of the sleeve, with the spring located between the head of the screw and a rear end surface of the sleeve. Then the sleeve with the spring and the screw fits in a front cavity of the housing, which is combined with a front end portion of the metal temple by means of screws. Then the metal temple has elasticity to be pushed outward to conform with the face of a wearer.

    Abstract: The rack assembly includes a pair of mounting struts which are disposed spacedly in a parallel relationship and which are respectively formed with an elongated groove that has a lower end provided with an engaging member and an upper end. A plate member has two opposed end edges and two opposed side edges. One of the end edges of the plate member is disposed between the struts. Each of the side edges of the plate member has a positioning projection extending into an adjacent one of the guiding grooves. A connecting rod has a first end pivoted to one of the struts at a position above the upper end of the guiding groove and a second end pivoted to an adjacent side edge of the plate member to permit engagement between the engaging members and the positioning projections of plate member when the positioning projections of the plate member are moved to the lower ends of the guiding grooves of the struts.

Each of the blocks includes a first vertical side surface, a second vertical side surface, an elongated horizontal bottom surface, and two end walls. The first side surface is secured to the annular table frame. The second side surface has a horizontal slot and two vertical slots each of which is communicated with an intermediate portion of the horizontal slot. The bottom surface interconnects the first and second side surfaces and has two L-shaped slots each of which has a lengthwise section and a transverse section. The transverse section has a first end communicated with the lengthwise section and a second end communicated with one of the vertical slots.

    Abstract: A foldable lawn chair includes a seat frame, a backrest frame connected pivotally to a rear end of the seat frame, and two arm support frames at two sides of the seat frame. Each of the arm support frames has an armrest portion provided with a positioning member that has a longitudinal slot, front and rear ends, upper and lower peripheries extending between the front and rear ends, a row of positioning notches along the upper periphery, and an access hole integrally formed with the longitudinal slot. A slide plate is sleeved slidably on the positioning member and has a longitudinal slot and a through-hole that is formed integrally with and that is communicated with the longitudinal slot thereof. When the slide plate slides together with a positioning stud of the backrest frame along the positioning member, the positioning notches in the positioning member are respectively covered by the slide plate and are exposed through the through-hole of the slide plate.

    Abstract: A shelf frame includes a first, a second, a third and a fourth leg device. Each of these leg devices includes an upper end, a lower end and a pair of elongated rods spaced apart from one another in parallel relationship and clamped by a plurality of clamping members. Each clamping member has a through-hole formed therein. A pair of connecting members, each has two ends respectively and correspondingly connecting the uppers end of the first and second leg devices to form a first inverted U-shaped frame, and the uppers ends of the third and fourth leg devices to form a second inverted U-shaped frame. The lower end of each leg device has a support on which the leg device stands. A transverse rod has two ends respectively connected to one clamping member on the first leg device and another clamping member on the second leg device. A rectangular plate has a pair of opposite sides each provided with at least one hook to engage the transverse rods.

    Abstract: A Chinese multifont recognition system, in which a scanner can input Chinese character pattern data into a recognition system to recognize all characters to complete the chinese input operation. The recognition system can recognize various printed fonts and chinese characters in various sizes. The recognition method is arranged that all the Chinese characters to be recognized are to be put in the system; all the features of a Chinese character are extracted, and stored in a feature data base. Later, any input Chinese character will recognized in accordance with the data base. Since it is a technique of extracting the features of a character pattern, the system can recognize the multifont Chinese characters. If it is necessary to expand the number of characters in the data base established originally, a character feature learning system may be used for storing new characters therein.
