  • Publication number: 20150316068
Abstract: An air pump with internal automatic controller has a housing, and a low-pressure blower and a first auto-stop controller mounted in the housing. The first auto-stop controller has a first casing, a first air pressure sensing film, a pushing element, a swing rod, a connecting rod, a rotation restricting element, a first micro switch, a rotational pressing rod, and a first turning button. With the low-pressure blower inflating an inflatable article with low pressure air, and with the first auto-stop controller stably and reliably controlling the low-pressure blower, the low-pressure blower stops working automatically. The first auto-stop controller has simplified structure and inflates the inflatable article without manual work, which is a great convenience to users.

  • Publication number: 20150252809
Abstract: The present invention provides an external automatic control smart air pump, including a housing, an air blast device and an automatic control mechanism. By setting up the intake nozzle in such way that the second cavity is independently in communication therewith, the actual air pressure inside the inflatable object can be precisely measured. The fine motion switch is controlled with the coordination of the push button, rotating position limiting member, pressing member, air pressure sensing film, first restoring spring and second restoring spring, thereby realizing the auto stop control of the air pump. The structure of the present invention is simple, and the assembling process thereof is convenient. In addition, the present invention can be precisely controlled according to the actual air pressure inside the inflatable object, thereby bringing convenience for the user.

  • Patent number: 8696322
Abstract: An automatic deactivation mechanism is configured for an air bladder pump having a casing and a motor located therein to pump air into an air bladder from the atmosphere and through an air valve connected through the casing. The automatic deactivation mechanism includes a housing positioned within the casing and has defined therethrough a first aperture in fluid communication with the atmosphere through the casing and a second aperture in fluid communication with the air bladder through the casing. Included within the housing are at least two switches and a diaphragm positioned between the switches. The housing is sealed so that when a threshold pressure is reached therein, at least one switch is triggered by deflection of the diaphragm to automatically deactivate the pump by de-energizing the motor.

  • Patent number: 8480375
Abstract: An auto-stop air pump has a housing, a blower and an auto-stop device. The housing has an upper chamber, a lower chamber, a main inlet and an outlet. The upper chamber and the lower chamber communicate with each other. The main inlet and the outlet are formed through the housing respectively and communicate with the upper chamber. The blower is mounted in the housing and has a motor connected to a dual-sided impeller. The auto-stop device is mounted in the housing and has a shell, a film, a micro switch and an actuating unit. The film and the micro switch are mounted in the shell. The actuating unit is mounted movably through the shell. Owing to deformation of the film by pressure, the film presses the micro switch to close the micro switch so the air pump can stop working automatically.

  • Patent number: 8210834
Abstract: An air pump for an inflatable article has a housing, and a blower, a switch assembly, an air valve and a fan guard mounted in the housing. The switch assembly has a slider and a driving device sliding the slider and the air valve to switch operating modes of the air pump. Thus, the air pump inflates or deflates the inflatable article or maintains or fine-tunes the air pressure inside the inflatable article. Therefore, the first and second openings of the housing are disposed on the housing for connection to different kinds of inflatable articles and the airflow directly flows through the air pump so inflating and deflating the inflatable article is fast.
