The foldable electronic device comprises a first panel body and a second panel body, which are pivotable with respect to each other The hinge mechanism comprises a central plate, a first pivoting element and a second pivoting element. The central plate comprises a first curved section and a second curved section. The first pivoting element is fixed to the first panel body and grips the first curved section. The second pivoting element is fixed to the second panel body and grips the second curved section. When the first pivoting element and the second pivoting element switch between a retracted position and a stretched position, the first panel body and the second panel body change between an unfolded status and a folded status correspondingly.

The elastic element is disposed in the receiving space and abuts against between the linkage mechanism and the shell element to provide an elastic force. When an external force is applied, the display device and the bearing plate rotate relative to the support between a first position and a second position. The bearing plate is linked to the linkage mechanism to compress or loosen the elastic element, and then the elastic force is changed. When the external force is removed, the display device and the bearing plate can be stopped at once at any position between the first position and the second position.

The first image is adjacent to the second image by a border extending in perpendicular to a first direction at a first coordinate. The signal processing circuit stores the first coordinate, determines whether a first cursor is in the first image or the second image according to a cursor control signal and the first coordinate, and transmits, according to the determination, the cursor control signal to either a signal source of the first video signal or a signal source of the second video signal. When an area ratio of the first image to the second image is changed, the processor controls the signal processing circuit to update the first coordinate.
