  • Patent number: 10991160
Abstract: Approaches described and suggested herein relate to generating three-dimensional representations of objects to be used to render virtual reality and augmented reality effects on personal devices such as smartphones and personal computers, for example. An initial surface mesh of an object is obtained. A plurality of silhouette masks of the object taken from a plurality of viewpoints is also obtained. A plurality of depth maps are generated from the initial surface mesh. Specifically, the plurality of depth maps are taken from the same plurality of viewpoints from which the silhouette images are taken. A volume including the object is discretized into a plurality of voxels. Each voxel is then determined to be either inside the object or outside of the object based on the silhouette masks and the depth data. A final mesh is then generated from the voxels that are determined to be inside the object.

  • Publication number: 20200215572
Abstract: A polymer plastic front plate comprises: a plastic substrate and a hard coating layer formed on an adhesion surface of the plastic substrate. The hard coating layer comprises: organic-inorganic hybrid UV oligomer, high Tg UV resin additive, a plurality of dispersed flaky nano inorganic material, and photo initiator, so as to form a gas barrier hard coating layer with high surface dyne value (>44 dyne) on the adhesion surface of the plastic substrate. It not only has good ink printability and OCA adhesiveness, but also inhibits the diffusion of fugitive gas from polymer plastic front plates during high-temperature, high-temperature and high-humidity, high-low temperature thermal shocks and other harsh automotive industry environmental tests. The gas can be avoided from entering the OCA layer, thereby solving the problems of bubbles and delamination after the environmental tests are performed.

  • Publication number: 20190278821
Abstract: Techniques that may be used for detecting a primary content (e.g., a web page) that the user is viewing and presenting one or more pieces of supplemental content (e.g., social media data) together with the primary content. The supplemental content presented to the user together with the primary content may be content that is matched to the primary content and therefore detected to be relevant to the user. Detection of primary content and matching to supplemental content may be carried out based on a comparison of entities related to the primary and supplemental content. In some embodiments, an analysis of the primary content for entities may include ordering entities according to significance in the primary content and selecting top entities for comparison. Also, in some embodiments, multiple pieces of supplemental content may be displayed to a user categorized based on entity.

  • Publication number: 20190156440
Abstract: A blockchain-based room inventory management system includes a property management system (PMS) module and an intermediate server system. The PMS module may be under a hotel's direct control. The intermediate server system communicates with at least one online travel agency (OTA) module and/or at least one booking engine using Ethereum-based smart contracts for confirming and processing a room reservation event. If the room reservation event is confirmed to be a successful transaction, the intermediate server system also updates the successful transaction into the PMS module and a blockchain formed by multiple node servers. The blockchain contains multiple blocks arranged in a chronological order for distinguishing successful transactions of different moments. In this way, each successful transaction is prevented from wrongly preceded by a later successful transaction. And the room inventory management system neutralizes an overbooking issue accordingly.
