    Abstract: There are various methods to stream media data, particularly video data, through a network for playing on a client workstation, for example, WMV™, Real™ Video, and so on. If multiple formats are involved, it is difficult to store the media data, and streaming the stored data whenever required. Further, existing devices are not able to record digital AV content from IP network, DVB, or AV encoder. The current invention provides a method of storing media data delivered to a client, for example via the internet. The media data can be encoded more than one format. The format of the media data is first identified when the media data is received by the client, and then analyzed to extract unit attributes from the media data. The unit attributes are stored in a media attribute file. The media data is then stored to a media storage file according to the sequence of the media data sent to the client. The media data stored by the methods of this invention can then be played by a player software.

The hybridization of probes of the samples to the array of overlapping fragments of authentic variable ribosomal RNA gene regions is quantified. The test enables distinction of species or prokaryotic strains and is unaffected by intra-species or strain polymorphism. The method disclosed is illustrated by authentication of traditional Chinese medicinal materials.

    Abstract: A method of deflection routing a packet in an all-optical communication network is described. Routing and destination information is contained in the address header of the packet and is generated by the originating node while still in the electrical domain before conversion to the optical domain. Receiving nodes process the address header in the optical domain using the information for their node from the address header. The address header is comprised of N node fields where N is the number of nodes on the optical network. Each node field contains routing information for a node on the optical network. Each node field contains at least one port field containing routing and address information associated with a port in the node.

The method includes steps of gathering image data, storing the image data, calculating display parameters using the stored image data, storing the display parameters in a look-up table; and applying the display parameters in the look-up table to at least a portion of the image data to produce preview image data. The display parameters can be quickly calculated using a digital signal processor to achieve real-time image previewing. The parameters used in an embodiment camera are vertical down sampling (51) white balance and gain control (52), horizontal up/down sampling (53), and color space conversion and gamma correction (55). The resulting preview processed image may be stored in memory via an interface (56) and viewed via a preview display.

    Abstract: A method and system for assigning self-routing addresses to nodes in a network with arbitrary, including irregular, topology is provided. The method and system are useful in packet-switched networks and in particular optical packet-switched networks for reducing processing associated with routing packets. Each self-routing address encodes a set of paths from all nodes in the network to the destination node. In an embodiment of the invention each output port of each node in a network sends a packet in response to the state of a bit in the self-routing address in a packet. Alternatively, each node address in the network is mapped to a bit in a self-routing address. Furthermore, a node can have multiple self-routing addresses encoding different sets of paths from all other nodes in the network to the node. In addition, hierarchical networks are included among the networks suitable for self-routing addresses.

    Abstract: A method for integrally manufacturing a shoe with different materials is disclosed. The main bottom is formed by covering a main template upon a left template. By the groove like a main bottom in the two template, molding material is injected into the shoe groove. For the middle bottom, a right template covers on the main template. By the groove like a middle bottom in the two templates, molding material is injected into the shoe groove. For the shoe pad above the middle bottom, a lower template covers on the main template. In the two templates, a shoe groove like a pad corresponding to the main bottom is formed. Then, molding material is injected into the shoe groove. For a time period, the left templates is opened, and the shoe pad, middle bottom, and main bottom are combined together.
