    Abstract: Disclosed is a battery pack configured to prevent its components such as a cell assembly from being broken or damaged even though a physical force such as vibrations and impacts is applied to the battery pack. The battery pack includes a cell assembly having a plurality of secondary batteries; an electronic component plate having a plate shape and configured to allow at least one electronic component to be mounted thereon; a lower housing configured to have an inner space with an open top and to accommodate the cell assembly and the electronic component plate therein; and an upper housing configured to cover the open top of the lower housing, wherein coupling members are respectively provided between a lower portion of the cell assembly and the lower housing, between an upper portion of the cell assembly and the electronic component plate, between the electronic component plate and the upper housing, and between the lower housing and the upper housing to couple and fix each other.

The illuminator may include at least one light source and a lens positioned with respect to the light source to produce interrogating radiation. The device also may include a detector operable to image the total autofluorescence response of the lens of the eye as viewable through a pupil of the eye, the detector comprising an image sensor. The device can also include a controller operable to control operation of the illuminator and the detector. The controller may interrogate at least the lens of the eye by activating the illuminator for a select time, obtain at least one image of the total autofluorescence response of the lens at the detector during or immediately subsequent to the select time, and transmit the at least one image to a remote device.

During the second remote session, identification information of the second applicant is provided. The source program may be partitioned into segments for execution on a host and a device. Kernels may be created for the segments to be executed on the device. The size of the kernels may be determined, and memory transfers between the host and device may be optimized.

    Abstract: A method is disclosed for altering the redox equilibrium of a transmembrane receptor-like protein tyrosine phosphatase (RPTP), particularly a type IIa RPTP, by chemically modulating the activity through contact of such an enzyme with a diaryl boron compound that preferentially reacts with an RPTP in an oxidized state (CyS-OH). This redox modulation is most readily observed and put to use by assaying the inhibition of the phosphatase activity of the RPTP. Such an assay can be carried out on an enzyme in vitro or by contacting the enzyme in a living organism (in vivo). A useful diaryl boron compound corresponds in structure to Formula I in which Ar-1, Ar-2, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are defined within. A pharmaceutical composition containing a useful diaryl boron compound is also disclosed, as are particularly preferred diaryl boron compounds.

The system is mainly composed of a control circuit, at least one wireless transmission module and one or more wireless gateway modules. The wireless gateway module can receive data from a terminal node via one of multiple channels. The control circuit instructs a wireless transmission module to transmit data. The system utilizes the wireless transmission module to deal with the data from the gateway modules. In the method, in order to achieve full-duplex communication, the system obtains transmission parameters of every terminal node, sets up a transmission schedule with respect to signals having various frequencies within designated time slots according to the operating environment of the node, assigns a transmission priority within the time slots and stores the setting in the node.

The coffee biofuel is extracted from coffee dregs and has a viscosity of 60 to 70 cSt at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. It can reduce the friction coefficient and operating temperature. In addition, it can replace the mineral oil.
