  • Patent number: 7774629
Abstract: A method for power management of a CPU and a system thereof, which drive the CPU to enter a more efficient power saving state are disclosed. A chip of the present invention sends a first control signal to drive the CPU to wake from a non-snooping sleep state and enter a normally executing instruction state as well as a system management mode to execute a system management interrupt routine. Then the chip enables an arbiter to transmit a bus master request to the CPU for processing. After completing the processing of the bus master request, the chip disables the arbiter and the CPU drives the chip to send a second control signal to drive the CPU to return to the non-snooping sleep state according the system management interrupt routine.

  • Publication number: 20090279256
Abstract: A heat-dissipating structure includes a base seat, a plurality of heat-dissipating fins and a heat pipe. The heat-dissipating fins are separated from each other by a predetermined distance, and each heat-dissipating fin has a base portion and at least one bending portion that is bent and extended upwards from one side of the base portion. The length of each bending portion is the same to or larger than the length of the base portion. The heat pipe is connected with the base seat, and at least one side of the heat pipe passing through the base portions of the heat-dissipating fins. Therefore, the present invention can obtain a perfect heat-dissipating coefficient and a better heat-dissipating efficiency by using the bending portion that is bent and extended upwards from one side of the base portion.

  • Publication number: 20090027216
Abstract: The oxygen sensing device contains a power circuit supplying the electricity required, an oxygen sensor for detecting the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere, an alarm system issuing an audible or visual alarm signal, and a controller. The controller is a computing device having a preset threshold value that continuously obtains the current oxygen concentration from the oxygen sensor. The controller then can calculate and obtain the variation rate of the oxygen concentration in a unit time. If the controller detects that the current oxygen concentration is about to drop below the threshold value, it will activate the alarm system to issue an alarm to alert people to take immediate and proper action.

  • Publication number: 20070126320
Abstract: An enclosure structure of water heater is disclosed, which is readily assembled/disassembled and has an enhanced structural strength, including two opposite side panels having front and rear edges along which aluminum-extruded channels are integrally fixed to respectively receive opposite edges of a front panel and an opposite base plate and top and bottom cover boards respectively attached to upper and lower edges of the side panels to secure the front panel and the base plate in the channels of the side panels. Such a structure enhances simplification of assembling/disassembling the water heater enclosure and provides flexibility in modification of overall outside appearance of the water heater by replacing the side panels and the front panel to thereby eliminate troubles and inconveniences that are encountered in the conventional water heater enclosures.

  • Patent number: 6536459
Abstract: A control valve structure of a gas burner includes a female base, a top base, and a coil base. The control panel energizes the coil base to generate a magnetic field, whereby the magnetic column is displaced upward by the magnetic force of the coil base, so that the main fire electromagnetic valve is acted to let the gas flow into a main fire gas vent, so that the main fire is ignited. The control panel stops energizing the coil base when not in use, whereby the magnetic column is displaced downward to press the push pin, so that the gas cannot enter the main fire gas vent. The displacement can be adjusted finely during the use process, thereby achieving a gas flow rate control with a high safety.

  • Patent number: 6400220
Abstract: A bias circuit produces a common mode bias voltage that relies upon active, auto tracking feedback responsive to the reference voltage, such as analog ground, and to the common mode bias voltage to generate a common mode voltage for a differential amplifier. The bias circuit supports high-speed operation, and is stable with variations in temperature, manufacturing processes, and with shifts in the supply voltages. In one embodiment, the bias circuit comprises an operational amplifier and a feedback amplifier that has a common mode bias terminal coupled to the output of the operational amplifier and arranged in a feedback loop with the operational amplifier. The output of the operational amplifier is used as a common mode bias voltage for a differential amplifier.

  • Patent number: 6351177
Abstract: A programmable and input voltage independent reference voltage generator. Size of reference voltage can be adjusted by controlling size of current using current mirrors and MOS switches. No decoding circuit is necessary. By adjusting the resistance value, current mirror and dimensional ratio of MOS, a chip area smaller than a decoding circuit can be used to accommodate the reference voltage generator. The reference voltage generator is able to provide an adjustable and stable reference voltage to different types of electronic modules. By providing a highly flexible reference voltage, performance of any circuits using the generator is boosted.
