A handle substrate is bonded to the device layer. The sacrificial substrate, the epitaxial layer, and the etch stop layer having the carbon atoms are removed from the handle substrate.

When no user activity is detected on the second device for a specific time period, a request message is received by the first device from the second device, indicating switching the backlight of the screen of the second device to power-saving backlight settings.
