  • Publication number: 20160148575
Abstract: A pixel unit structure of an organic light emitting diode display panel includes a switch transistor, a storage capacitor configured to receive a discharging reference voltage, an organic light emitting diode, a driving transistor, a first control circuit, and a second control circuit. The organic light emitting diode is controlled by the driving transistor and the first control circuit to emit light. The scan signal, the first control signal, the second control signal, and the discharging reference voltage control the pixel unit to operate in a plurality of time events repeating in sequence.

  • Publication number: 20160125810
Abstract: An organic light emitting diode display panel structure includes a number of pixel units and at least one performance enhancing unit. The pixels are arranged in a number of rows and columns. Each pixel unit receives a corresponding data signal. The performance enhancing unit receives performance information corresponding to the data signals of the pixel units, and calculates an enhanced data signal according to the performance information. Each pixel unit operates in a number of time events repeating in sequence. The time events are set by a time controller. A portion of the time events any two adjacent rows of pixel units overlaps. Each pixel unit emits light according to the enhanced data signal.

  • Patent number: 7576724
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device and an electronic device, which provide compensation for the difference of brightness caused by the LC effect to improve the image color fidelity is provided. The present invention provides a source driving method for a LCD device including providing data signals representing images to be displayed at a plurality of sub-pixels corresponding to different display wavelengths within a pixel and sequentially activating the sub-pixels within the pixel, in the order from a sub-pixel corresponding to the shortest display wavelength to a sub-pixel corresponding to longest display wavelength.

  • Publication number: 20070171165
Abstract: Methods for controlling display panels, in which the display panel comprises a plurality of pixels and wherein each of the plurality of pixels comprises a plurality of sub-pixels, are provided. A representative the method comprises: controlling a timing sequence for turning on the pixels such that at least one of: an average influence of coupling of each of the sub-pixels in two sequential time frames is the same; and an average influence of coupling of two of the sub-pixels on two adjacent rows of the sub-pixels is the same.
