  • Patent number: 7519260
Abstract: An optoelectronic device separation apparatus may include a first and second clamp members configured to grip coaxial portions of an optoelectronic device. In one embodiment, the clamp members grip a housing portion and a fiber pigtail portion, respectively. The clamp members are configured to rotate relative to each other about an axis that is generally coaxial with the axis of the coaxial portions of the optoelectronic device. A force may be applied to the clamp members to provide such rotation, thereby causing the coaxial portions of the optoelectronic device to separate, for example, along weld points coupling the portions of the optoelectronic device together. Of course, many alternatives, variations and modifications are possible without departing from this embodiment.

  • Publication number: 20090016683
Abstract: An angle-polished optical fiber may be mounted relative to a laser at an off-axis angle to allow coupled light from a laser to be substantially aligned with the axis of the fiber core. An angled fiber ferrule may facilitate providing the off-axis angle when coupling the angle-polished optical fiber to a laser package. The angled fiber ferrule includes a through hole including at least a portion that is off-axis. The axis of the off-axis portion of the through hole is angled at the off-axis angle with respect to an axis of the ferrule body portion.

  • Patent number: 7267528
Abstract: A bearing structure for the blade of cooling fan, comprises a hollow cylindrical body and an outward extended seat whose diameter is larger than the body. The seat has a recess at the bottom. The body forms a long cavity and upward flange. This bearing is placed in the hub of the cooling fan; the blade rotor shaft is inserted into the cavity of the bearing, and the flange of the body works as a C-clamp buckling the round groove on the blade rotor shaft to confine the motion of the rotor shaft. The bearing design renders easy fabrication and assembly, good dust shield to keep the dust off the rotor and reduce the rotary friction and resistance to the minimum. In addition, the magnetic force is limited for the self-adjustment, which further alleviates the frictional resistance sop the service life the cooling fan is extended longer.

  • Publication number: 20050255936
Abstract: An iron club head includes a striking plate for striking a golf ball and a body. The body includes an elastically deformable thin wall. An opening is defined in a front side of the body and surrounded by the thin wall. The striking plate is bonded in the opening. The thin wall has a thickness smaller than that of the striking plate. When the iron club head hits a golf ball, a momentum of striking generated as a result of hitting the golf ball causes elastic deformation of the striking plate and the thin wall to increase an overall deformation of the iron club head.
