Abstract: Implements may include an adjustable ferrule to manipulate an applicator to take various configurations for application of cosmetic products to a variety of areas of skin. An example cosmetic implement comprises a handle coupled to an applicator and an adjustable ferrule configured to move along an axis of the handle. In some examples, when the adjustable ferrule is in a first position the applicator may have a first shape; however, when the ferrule is placed in a second position the applicator may have a second shape different from the first shape.

Abstract: Disclosed is a cosmetic applicator that may include a handle and a polyhedral applicator coupled to the handle. The applicator may comprise a first gradient, a second gradient, and a peak where the first gradient adjoins to the second gradient. In some embodiments, the first gradient may have dimensions substantially similar to those of the second gradient so that the polyhedral applicator is symmetrical about a longitudinal axis of the implement. In other embodiments the first gradient may have dimensions substantially different than those of the second gradient so that the polyhedral applicator is asymmetrical about the longitudinal axis of the implement. In some examples, the cosmetic implement may be configured to apply a cosmetic product, such as eye shadow, to a first surface and a second surface simultaneously.

Abstract: Covers for covering a handle of a cosmetic brush are disclosed. The covers may include a suction cup fixed in a wall of the cover. The covers may be softer than a handle of the cosmetic brush. The covers may have an open end opposite a closed end, or a first open end opposite a second open end. In embodiments where the covers have a first open end opposite a second open end, the covers may be displaced, while remaining coupled to a handle of the cosmetic brush, from a first position covering a group of bristles of the cosmetic brush and exposing the handle of the cosmetic brush to a second position exposing the group of bristles and covering the handle. By virtue of having a suction cup fixed in the wall of the cover a user may removeably couple the cosmetic brush to a smooth surface.

Abstract: An applicator system for applying a product includes a handle (e.g., housing) and at least a first applicator and a second applicator. A mechanism, such as a pivot mechanism or a slide mechanism, enables the first applicator and the second applicator to be placed in at least two different positions. In a first position, the first applicator may be aligned with (e.g., adjacent to) the second applicator to define a continuous applicator perimeter that is longer than either the perimeter of the first applicator or the perimeter of the second applicator. In a second position, the first applicator may be positioned at an opposite end of the split-tip applicator relative to the second applicator.

The cosmetic brush system may include a displaceable cap coupled to a handle and a group of bristles fixed to one end of the handle. The displaceable cap may be slideably or peelably coupled to the handle. The handle may include ballast to position a centroid of the cosmetic brush closer to the end of the handle. In embodiments where the displaceable cap is a slideable cap, an end cap may be fixed to the end of the handle and the slideable cap and the end cap may form a uniform elongated cylindrical shape having the same outer diameter. The displaceable cap may also include a ventilation system. By virtue of having a displaceable cap permanently coupled to the handle of the cosmetic brush system, the user cannot misplace the cap and the system is portable and convenient.

Abstract: A compact system for applying a product to a surface including a removable applicator slideably housed in a compact comprising an actuator and a slide-mechanism. In one example, the slide-mechanism is configured to magnetically couple with a magnet in the base of the applicator, and slides the applicator into and out of the compact. By virtue of having a removable applicator, the compact system is portable and convenient, while at the same time the applicator remains clean and intact until a time of use.

Abstract: Tweezer-applicators having an applicator arranged linearly with tweezers are disclosed. The applicator may comprise a substantially flat rectangular shaped group of bristles that are arranged substantially straight along a linear axis of the tweezer-applicator. By virtue of having an applicator arranged substantially straight along the linear axis and in line with the tweezers, a user may grip the tweezers without the applicator interfering with a grip of a user and provide the user with precision while applying product to a portion of a body.
