  • Patent number: 6769673
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for the gasification or aeration of liquids. Elongated aeration elements are connected to a distribution conduit and have an essentially rigid support tube about which is disposed a membrane of elastomeric material. Compressed gas introduced between the support tube and membrane escapes via slits in the membrane. An elastically deformable fitting is disposed between the distribution conduit and one of the aeration elements, and is disposed in a bore in the conduit. The fitting has an essentially flat portion, one side of which rests against the outer surface of the conduit, and the other side of which rests against an end of the aeration element. A hollow bolt is securely connected to the aeration element and is guided through a bore in the fitting into the interior of the conduit, where it is provided with apertures.

  • Publication number: 20030079693
Abstract: A toy for animals, especially for dogs, is provided. The toy has a body having optional recesses on an outer surface thereof. The body comprises a core of a first, hard polymeric material, and a covering of a second, soft polymeric material, especially of rubber or a rubber-like material.

  • Patent number: 6345812
Abstract: A plate-like water aerator is provided. A plate, made of elastomeric material, is disposed on a rigid, essentially planar mounting support and covers the one or more air supply connections thereof. The plate is provided with fine slits for the discharge of air. The mounting support has a circumferential rim that is angled-off at substantially right angles. The mounting support also has a circumferential rib that extends parallel to the rim in such a way as to form a circumferential groove between the rib and the rim. The plate has an essentially u-shaped rim portion, a radially inwardly disposed leg of which surrounds the rim of the mounting support and engages in the circumferential groove in a manner free of play.

  • Patent number: 6083112
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a plastic bowling pin that has a porous core and a resilient envelope includes the step of blow-forming the envelope in a blowing mold and removing the envelope from the blowing mold. The envelope is then cooled to a temperature of 60.degree. C. to 100.degree. C. A core plastic material containing an exothermic agent is then injected into the envelope for forming the core. The core plastic material is heated to a temperature of 200.degree. C. to 260.degree. C. The inner layer of the envelope is thus fused to the plastic material of the core to provide an intimate connection between the envelope and the core.

  • Patent number: 5951125
Abstract: A roller belt arrangement for a CATERPILLAR (endless track) vehicle has at least one pull resistant belt having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. Drive members are connected to the first surface of the at least one pull resistant belt and extend transversely to a longitudinal extension of the at least one pull-resistant belt. The drive members have a U-shaped foot comprising a stay and two legs, wherein the stay rests on the first surface and the legs project perpendicularly from the first surface. The bolts, having a head and a threaded end opposite the head, are provided for connecting the drive members to the at least one pull-resistant belt. Plate members are non-rotatably positioned between the legs. The bolts penetrate the at least one belt, the stays, and the plate members, with the threaded ends positioned between the legs. Nuts, threaded onto the threaded ends of the bolts, are provided for securing the bolts and are nonrotatably secured relative to the plate members.

  • Patent number: 5888144
Abstract: A bowling pin has a pin body with a head and a magnet, at least partially enclosed in a plastic envelope, positioned in the head for manipulating the bowling pin. The plastic envelope and the head are fused to one another by rotating the plastic envelope within a cutout of the head so that the contact surfaces are heated for softening and fusing the material.
