  • Patent number: 11176499
Abstract: Data is obtained specifying a measure of a data set to be analyzed by human experts and allotted time for analysis completion. Based on same, a schedule is created for a primary meeting of human experts, whose aim is to analyze the data. The meeting is evaluated to create rate estimates for hypothetical meeting partitions; and, if the primary meeting is not adhering to schedule and/or can be speeded up, the meeting partitions are simulated until a partitioning scheme is determined that can restore the meeting to schedule and/or speed it up. In another aspect, a model of focus of attention of each member of a group of individuals engaged in an activity requiring cooperation is dynamically updated, and a cooperation index is determined based on the model of focus of attention, an interaction graph, and at least one physiological parameter of at least one of the members.

  • Patent number: 11171825
Abstract: Various embodiments provision resources of a large-scale enterprise network for a first user. The large-scale enterprise network has a multiplicity of resources and users. The actions of users of the network are monitored to determine resource usage history and current resource usage of all resources for each user. A resource usage frequency is determined for all resources used by the first user. A set of related users is created by identifying users grouped with the first user in a common user group. At least one resource usage configuration for the first user is predicted based on the resource usage history, current resource usage, and resource usage frequency of the first user and resource usage history and current usage of each of the related users. A computing device of the first user is provisioned according to the predicted resource usage configuration.

  • Patent number: 11137884
Abstract: A method, system, and/or computer program product modifies an appearance of a graphical user interface (GUI) for a user. One or more processors determine a user context and a cognitive state of a user and identify a preferred focal point for the user. The processor(s) adjust a visual style of an image according to the determined user context and cognitive state of the user and the identified focal point for the user, and then present a graphical user interface that displays the image to the user using the adjusted visual style.

  • Patent number: 11102232
Abstract: A processor-implemented method records and maintains a record of browser events in a blockchain using a peer-to-peer network. One or more processors detect one or more browser events for a browser on a computer. The processor(s) transmit transactions associated with the browser event(s) to a peer-to-peer network of devices that create a blockchain, which includes one or more blocks that describe the browser event(s), where the blockchain records and maintains a record, of browser events, that includes records of uniform resource locators (URLs) browsed by a user, bookmarks added to the browser, and search terms searched by the user. The processor(s) perform a vulnerability analysis to determine how vulnerable the computer and the browser are to a malicious attack, and adjust a frequency of transmitting the transactions from the computer to the peer-to-peer network of devices according to how vulnerable the computer and the browser are to the malicious attack.

  • Patent number: 11096050
Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable challenge-response authentication of a user based on information captured by devices associated with the user. Specifically, in one approach, a plurality of devices associated with the user that each dynamically track and store on-device data points over a period of time are identified. A request initiated by a party claiming to be the user is received to authenticate the party as the user. An authentication question is generated in a natural language, the answer to which is a data point selected from data points on at least one device of the plurality, wherein the selected data point is discoverable by viewing data points on the at least one device. The requesting party is prompted to find the data point by presenting the authentication question to the requesting party. In the case that the requesting party returns the answer, the requesting party is authenticated as the user.

  • Patent number: 11091171
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system, and/or computer program product controls a driving mode of a self-driving vehicle (SDV). One or more processors compare a control processor competence level of an on-board SDV control processor in controlling the SDV to a human driver competence level of a human driver in controlling the SDV while the SDV encounters a current roadway condition which is a result of current weather conditions of the roadway on which the SDV is currently traveling. One or more processors then selectively assign control of the SDV to the SDV control processor or to the human driver while the SDV encounters the current roadway condition based on which of the control processor competence level and the human driver competence level is relatively higher to one another.
