Abstract: A manifold is disclosed which includes a manifold body that defines a main lumen, a primary injection line and a port. A check valve system is also provided which permits flow from the primary injection line to the main lumen while selectively preventing back flow from the main lumen to the primary injection line and, simultaneously, permitting flow from the port to the primary injection line while preventing back flow from the primary injection line to the port.

Abstract: An inflation device according to the present invention includes a barrel, a piston at least partially disposed within the barrel, and a collar surrounding at least a portion of the barrel. The piston includes a threaded portion. The collar and the barrel are axially movable with respect to one another, with the barrel being biased towards an equilibrium position within the collar by a collar spring. A nut is disposed at least partially within the barrel, the nut including an interior threaded surface and an exterior camming surface. The nut is movable along an axis substantially transverse to the barrel axis, and is biased towards a collar camming surface by a nut spring. When the barrel is in the equilibrium position, the nut is in a locking position in which the interior threaded surface engages the threaded portion of the piston. This prevents free movement of the piston within the barrel.

Abstract: A vinyl siding panel package system is disclosed that prefolds corrugated paper blanks and then forms panel containers that are packed with a pre-specified number of panels. The panel packer receives a plurality of panels from a panel extrusion operator, re-orients panels into desired combinations and packs each combination, up to the limit, in a waiting container. The loaded container is sent to a container closing operation whereby the lid is sealed around the container body, and the container is weighed. A palletizer transports a loaded container from the closer to a waiting pallet.
