  • Publication number: 20190102228
Abstract: Systems and methods are related to a global ranking for a unified list of tasks. From a plurality of work projects each having one or more tasks, a processor may receive a first set of selections of at least two work projects for generating a work backlog having a unified list of tasks. The processor may generate a list of potential tasks to include in the work backlog from the selected work projects. The processor may receive a second set of selections of one or more of the potential tasks to include in the work backlog. The processor may send signals to display the unified list of tasks of the work backlog based on the potential tasks selected. The unified list of tasks comprises at least two types of tasks from two different work projects having disparate priority metrics.

  • Patent number: 9947247
Abstract: A labelling tie (10) includes a tie portion (14), a wire assembly (24), and a bib portion (16) connected to the tie portion. The tie portion (10) has a first arm (18-R), a mid-segment, and a second arm (18-L). Spaced apart perforations (20) intersect each of the first and second arms. The wire assembly (24) has a retention wire (26) that spans across the first arm, the mid-segment, and the second arm. A sheet of labelling ties (62) includes separably connected labelling ties. A method attaches a labelling tie to an item or a group of items. The method includes wrapping the first arm (18-R) and second arm (18-L) around at least one object (12, 12?), allowing the first and second arms to meet at a location with a portion of the first arm and a portion of the second arm extending past the location, and twisting the first and second arm portions together, thereby securing the tie portion around the object(s).

  • Publication number: 20170129670
Abstract: An apparatus (100, 200, 400, 500, 600) includes a stack (110, 310) having a plurality of connected tie web sheets (106, 306) and an image (114) disposed on each of the tie web sheets (106, 306), wherein the image (114) is the same on each tie web sheet (106, 306) and is disposed in overlay registration from sheet (106, 306) to sheet (106, 306). Each tie web sheet (106, 306) includes a plurality of twist ties (104, 304), each twist tie (104, 304) having a proximal end (118) and a distal end (120), each twist tie (104, 304) being removably attached to the stack (110, 310) at its proximal end (118). A method of dispensing a plurality of twist ties (104, 304) includes mounting a stack (110, 310) within reach of a user and displaying an image (114) disposed on each of the tie web sheets (106, 306). Removal of a twist tie (104, 304) of the plurality of twist ties (104, 304) of the stack (110, 310) does not alter the image (114) viewable by the user.

  • Patent number: 9523737
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for causing the incorrect operation (‘faults’) of digital devices such as embedded computer systems or integrated circuits. The apparatus uses a switching element to cause perturbations on the power supplies of the digital device. This apparatus can be connected to existing embedded systems with a minimal of modifications, and can insert a variety of faults into those embedded systems. Such faults can be used for verification of fault-tolerant systems or algorithms, including both safety-critical designs and cryptographic designs.

  • Publication number: 20160100911
Abstract: A medical procedure localization aid produces reference marks on both the patient and the medical imaging scan. The aid is defined by a substrate sheet having indicia on one side that is opaque to medical imaging radiation and indicia on a second side that is transferable to a patient. The indicia on the first side is displayed on the scan image and the indicia on the second side is imprinted on the patient. By visualizing the location of a target on the scan image relative to the indicia on the scan image and comparing that with indicia on the patient, a medical professional may reliably locate where a medical procedure should be performed.
