  • Patent number: 12221807
Abstract: A lock mechanism having a bolt movable between a thrown position and a retracted position, and a deadbolt assembly includes a sliding deadbolt configured to slide between a locked position in which the sliding deadbolt inhibits retraction of the bolt and an unlocked position. The sliding deadbolt includes a first anti-thrust cam configured to restrain the sliding deadbolt in the locked position, and a release driver arranged such that, when driven, the release driver releases the first anti-thrust cam from restraining the sliding deadbolt in the locked position and slides the deadbolt to the unlocked position.

  • Patent number: 12135412
Abstract: An optical scanning microscope includes an illumination system (160) and an objective lens (134) operable together to provide the excitation radiation (152), (154) in a focal volume (124) at sufficient intensity to cause non-linear emission of emission radiation from a sample in the focal volume. The objective is an aspheric objective configured to focus the excitation radiation without, or with minimal, spherical aberration. The objective lens (134) is scanned by an objective scanner (130), (132). In this example an x-y transducer (xyXD) (130) is connected to a kinematic flexure mechanism (132) which acts as a scanning lens mount. The objective scanner (130), (132) is operable to scan the objective (134) in two dimensions transverse with respect to the objective's optical axis so as to scan the emitting focal volume (124) in corresponding dimensions.

  • Patent number: 12083617
Abstract: A welding electrode for an electric resistance welding process. The welding electrode includes a body extending along a center axis and terminating axially at a weld face for contacting a work face. The weld face defines a center along the axis and defines an outer edge spaced radially from the center. A plurality of senates are defined along the weld face. Each of the serrates projects axially away from the weld face and extends radially from the center axis to the outer edge of the weld face. A higher density of the plurality of serrates is formed proximate to the center axis than proximate to the outer circumference of the weld face. Methods for using the welding electrode and forming the senates on the welding electrode are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11275754
Abstract: A method for generating an application includes the steps of defining a plurality of assumptions, providing an input mode configured to receive input, generating a schema configured to enable the application to access a data model, generating an interface for the data model in response to the assumptions and generating functions to perform database operations for the data model at runtime for each request. The input may enable customization of objects of the data model. The assumptions may provide constraints for the input. The constraints may ensure the schema is valid. The assumptions may define a location for displaying the objects on the interface. The input mode may enable the input to customize the objects via a guided indirect code implementation. The interface may enable a user to modify properties of the objects. The interface may comprise a dynamic application programming interface to perform the database operations.

  • Patent number: 11173224
Abstract: The gel compositions as described herein, are less affected by changes in humidity, are readily formed into complex shapes, and can contain high loadings of the hydrophobic material, even when the material is not highly hydrophobic, and provide a more controlled release of the hydrophobic material. It is believed that the slow release is achieved by forming the gel to have a tight cross-linked network with small pore-size. The pore size is correlated to the average correlation length as measured using Small Angle X-Ray Scattering (SAXS). By limiting the average correlation length to less than 8 nm, preferably from 0.3 nm to 8 nm, more preferably from 0.3 nm to 4 nm, a long lasting release of the hydrophobic material is achieved, rather than a blooming effect, whereby the hydrophobic material is released in a short burst.
