  • Patent number: 12256030
Abstract: A cloud enabled data exchange platform configured to accept sensed information from publishers and allows downloading of sensed information by subscribers. The platform may utilize a blockchain to verify sensed information without sharing private information, act as a transaction ledger, or provide an interface for digital services/interaction with data. Microservices may be offered on the platform to both publishers and subscribers, such as preconfigured smart city solutions or pre-developed artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. Publishers may control the format in which sensed information is uploaded. Subscribers may control the format in which sensed information is downloaded.

  • Publication number: 20240285976
Abstract: Vacuum electron devices (VEDs) include an electron accelerator that generates an electron beam from an electron source along a central axis. Targets are arranged on a circular arc and generate photons upon impact by the electron beam. A controllable magnetic field generator generates a magnetic field to change a trajectory of the electron beam, including a first field region that causes the electron beam to diverge from the central axis and a second field region that causes the electron beam to converge toward the central axis to impact a selected target.

  • Publication number: 20230109761
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and systems are defined for the use of a clearinghouse device in conjunction with remote online signature validation for signature validated or notarized electronic documents. The clearinghouse applies machine learning techniques to generate one or more verification and validation scores associated with signature validation using identification elements and information supplied by a signatory of the electronic document. The verification and validation scores are used to confirm proper execution of the signature validation and generate an electronic signature validation or notarization on the electronic documents.

  • Patent number: 11515116
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques implemented at least in part by a fuse-monitoring device to detect when a fuse cutout in an electric power system opens to disconnect a device and/or a load from a power line, and provides an indication of a location of the opened fuse cutout to a utility provider. The fuse-monitoring device may be attached to a fuse holder of the fuse cutout, and may include a movement sensor that detects when the fuse holder swings open due to its fuse melting, or blowing. The fuse-monitoring device may send a notification to the utility provider indicating that the fuse holder has swung open. The fuse-monitoring device may include a GPS sensor to determine the location of the fuse cutout, and may also notify the utility provider of the location of the fuse cutout so a line crew can quickly locate the fuse cutout that requires maintenance.

  • Patent number: 11066205
Abstract: A high speed labeling machine especially designed for use in food or pharmaceutical processing environments. It can be periodically washed down in accordance with applicable governmental standards without entry of washing fluid into an interior of an enclosure assembly containing servo motors and the electronics for driving shafts that penetrate through a wall of the enclosure assembly and on which a label web supply reel and a web take-up reel are removably mounted. A plurality of idler rollers and a pinch roller are used to route the label carrying web from the supply reel, over an edge of a peel plate, where the labels are separated from the web, and back to the web take-up reel. The idler rollers and the pinch rollers are journaled on shafts in a way precluding entry of wash fluids into their interior. The enclosure assembly is cantilever-mounted on a jack stand for vertical adjustment relative to items to be labeled.

  • Patent number: 10800668
Abstract: A system for obtaining purified water includes a heat exchanger fluidly coupled to the heat source for receiving a thermal management fluid from the heat source, and a reservoir fluidly coupled with the heat exchanger to supply water, at an ambient temperature, for receiving heat from the thermal management fluid at the heat exchanger. A pump provides a pre-defined flow rate of the water from the reservoir to the heat exchanger based on a temperature gradient of the thermal management fluid across the heat exchanger. A purification device has a cold side chamber in fluid communication with the pump and the heat exchanger while a hot side chamber is in fluid communication with the heat exchanger and the reservoir. The cold and hot side chambers of the purification device thermally co-operate with each other to develop condensate therebetween from moisture present in the ambient air for forming water.
