  • Publication number: 20200119937
Abstract: A broadband access system, comprising a broadband access hub device (hub device) and broadband access premise devices (premise devices) wirelessly coupled the hub device to provide broadband services to multiple user equipment (UEs), is described. The hub device may access broadband services on a fiber optic broadband network and wirelessly provide access to the broadband services to the premise devices. The premise device may wirelessly communicate with the hub device and communicate with user equipment (UEs) for providing access to the broadband services through the hub device. The premise device may be attached to an electric utility meter, and a power interface module of the premise device may supply electrical power to the premise device from the electric utility meter.

  • Publication number: 20200079660
Abstract: A system for obtaining purified water includes a heat exchanger fluidly coupled to the heat source for receiving a thermal management fluid from the heat source, and a reservoir fluidly coupled with the heat exchanger to supply water, at an ambient temperature, for receiving heat from the thermal management fluid at the heat exchanger. A pump provides a pre-defined flow rate of the water from the reservoir to the heat exchanger based on a temperature gradient of the thermal management fluid across the heat exchanger. A purification device has a cold side chamber in fluid communication with the pump and the heat exchanger while a hot side chamber is in fluid communication with the heat exchanger and the reservoir. The cold and hot side chambers of the purification device thermally co-operate with each other to develop condensate therebetween from moisture present in the ambient air for forming water.

  • Publication number: 20180364664
Abstract: Systems and methods for personalizing actionable energy management based on disambiguated energy use data includes receiving disambiguated energy use data associated with a user, receiving a user request from the user for energy use information associated with the disambiguated energy use data, based on the disambiguated energy use data and the user request, determining a personalized energy management action; and providing the personalized energy management action to the user. A task consistent with the personalized energy management action may be performed automatically, and a confirmation of the task completion is provided to the user.

  • Publication number: 20170101115
Abstract: A system is disclosed for use in simulating operation of a train. The system may have at least one sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of an operating status of a component of the train during completion of an assigned trip. The system may also have a display, and a controller in communication with the at least one sensor and the display. The controller may be configured to retrieve from memory first data associated with the assigned trip, and retrieve from memory second data associated with the train. The controller may be further configured to simulate completion of a remainder of the assigned trip based on the first data, the second data, and the signal, when the operating status of the component becomes malfunctioning, and to cause simulation results to be shown on the display.
