  • Patent number: 10243984
Abstract: A system, apparatus, computer-readable medium, and computer-implemented method are provided for detecting anomalous behavior in a network. Historical parameters of the network are determined in order to determine normal activity levels. A plurality of paths in the network are enumerated as part of a graph representing the network, where each computing system in the network may be a node in the graph and the sequence of connections between two computing systems may be a directed edge in the graph. A statistical model is applied to the plurality of paths in the graph on a sliding window basis to detect anomalous behavior. Data collected by a Unified Host Collection Agent (“UHCA”) may also be used to detect anomalous behavior.

  • Patent number: 10113354
Abstract: A system for producing multiple-pane insulating glazing units can include a conveyor and a plurality of laterally spaced-apart processing stations that are movable transversely relative to the longitudinally extending conveyor line. Each processing station may assemble glazing panes and a glazing spacer into a partially fabricated glazing unit, deliver insulative gas to a between-pane space between the glazing panes, and press the partially fabricated glazing unit together to seal the insulative gas in the between-pane space and form the multiple-pane insulating glazing unit. In some examples, each processing station moves to an alignment position with the conveyor to load glazing panes and a glazing spacer and then performs individual fabrication steps while offset from the conveyor. During this time, a different processing station can be aligned with the conveyor to unload a fabricated multiple-pane insulating glazing units and/or load unassembled glazing panes and a glazing spacer.

  • Patent number: 10105101
Abstract: A biomedical sensor has conducting elements disposed at least partly over a skin-facing surface. A sensing element detects a signal representative of a physiological parameter of a body using the conducting elements. A storage device stores a physiological model. A processor determines sensor placement quality by comparing the signal to the model and operates an indicator to indicate the determined quality. A method of measuring using the sensor includes computing a measurement acceptance criterion using numerous measurements, determining whether a subsequent test measurement corresponds to the measurement acceptance criterion obtained from the computing step, and indicating the results via the indicator. A system for measuring a physiological property of the body includes the sensor, a user interface device to receive measurements from the sensor, and a processor associated with the user interface device and configured to provide feedback if the measurement does not meet a selected acceptance criterion.

  • Publication number: 20180008199
Abstract: A device for determining a physiological property of a body includes an insulating support having a compliant contact surface with a conductive element to contact the body. A mounting fixture disposed over a mounting surface of the support removably holds a rigid sensor spaced apart from the body and coupled to the conductive element to determine the physiological property via that element. A method for enabling a physiological parameter to be measured without direct contact between an active device and the body includes arranging a conductive element over an inner surface of an insulating circumferential band. A sensor with the active device is attached to the exterior of the band and thus coupled to the element. A system includes the sensor having a mounting connector, and sensor carriers with respective supports, mounting fixtures, and conductive elements. The sensor mounted on a carrier determines the property via the respective conductive element.

  • Publication number: 20170310213
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for multi-mode charge pumps are disclosed herein. In certain configurations, a multi-mode charge pump includes an output terminal, a mode control circuit that operates the multi-mode charge pump in a selected mode, a first switched capacitor, a capacitor charging circuit, and a plurality of switches. The capacitor charging circuit connects a first end of the first switched capacitor to a charging voltage in a first phase of a clock signal, and connects the first end of the first switched capacitor to a reference voltage in a second phase of the clock signal. The charging voltage has a voltage level that changes based on the selected mode. The plurality of switches connect a second end of the first switched capacitor to the reference voltage in the first phase, and connect the second end of the first switched capacitor to the output terminal in the second phase.

  • Patent number: 9729048
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for charge pumps are disclosed herein. In certain configurations, a charge pump includes a mode control circuit, a clock generation circuit that generates a clock signal, two or more switched capacitors, and a capacitor charging circuit used to charge the switched capacitors in response to transitions of the clock signal. The mode control circuit can be used to operate the charge pump in one of a plurality of modes associated with different clock signal oscillation frequencies and with different power supply voltages of the capacitor charging circuit. For example, in certain configurations, the selected mode can control an oscillation frequency of clock signal and a voltage level of a power supply voltage used by the capacitor charging circuit when charging the switched capacitors.
