    Abstract: A fan base and mirror apparatus for use in cooling a user's neck and torso while the user is positioned adjacent the apparatus includes a base member having upper and lower portions. A fan member is pivotally coupled to the base member and selectively movable between upward and downward directed configurations. An upstanding support member is coupled to the upper portion of the base member and extends upwardly therefrom. A mirror is operatively coupled to an upper end of the support member such that the mirror is vertically displaced from the fan member, the mirror being movable between straight and tilted configurations. The apparatus includes a light coupled to the mirror and electrically connected to a power source, the light configured to illuminate the mirror when energized.

The processor generates a second baseband signal based on the first baseband signal. The baseband module generates a data signal based on the first baseband signal. The image module processes the data signal to implement physical printing via a print mechanism. Printer formatter ready data is received from a host machine at a first interface of the removable PC card and print engine ready data is sent to the printer from a second interface of the removable PC card. A version of the formatter program is compared to a version of an updated formatter program. The updated formatter program is requested if the version of the formatter program is different than the version of the updated formatter program. The updated formatter program is downloaded from the host machine using the first interface when the second interface is coupled to the printer.

The methods described herein use a combination of epitaxial liftoff and spalling techniques to quickly and precisely control the separation of an epilayer from a growth substrate. Provided herein are growth structures having a sacrificial layer positioned between a growth substrate and a sacrificial layer. Exemplary methods of the present disclosure include forming at least one notch in the sacrificial layer and spalling the growth structure by crack propagation at the at least one notch to separate the epilayer from the growth substrate.
