Abstract: A cooking apparatus, which is provided with a cover having an air ventilation structure that ventilates air into and out of a cooking space to maintain a desirable temperature of the cooking space. Accordingly, the cooking apparatus has at least one heating unit, a grill unit, such that food laid thereon is cooked by heat from the heating unit, and the cover, covering the food, defining a cooking space thereunder, and having the air ventilation structure to ventilate air into and out of the cooking space during cooking. Food and oil are prevented from being burned, so that carcinogenic substances and smoke are not generated, and convenience of use is increased.

Abstract: A cooking apparatus which allows an interior of a cabinet thereof to be easily cleaned. The cooking apparatus includes a cabinet. The cabinet has an opening in a top surface defining a heating space. A heating unit to heat food is installed in the heating space and heat is transmitted from the heating unit to the food. A grill unit is seated on the top surface of the cabinet to support the food over the opening. A contamination preventing unit is installed in the heating space to prevent an inside surface of the cabinet from being contaminated with material dropping from the food. The cooking apparatus of the present invention guides splashed material back to a tray when the material collides with the tray splashes. The contamination preventing unit may be removed from the heating space, enabling a user to easily clean the contamination preventing unit.

The inner reflecting plates are upwardly projected to be higher than the outer reflecting plates. The front plate includes an upper surface and inner and outer surfaces, and is provided in the upper surface thereof with a water inlet, and in the inner surface thereof with an overflow hole. The front plate has a water level window to ascertain a level of water. The front plate is positioned outside the body so that oil and sauce are prevented from entering the inner space of the heat reflecting unit through the water inlet.

The hook locking unit is installed in the cabinet to engage with the hook unit. The locking step is provided in the hook locking unit to catch the hook unit when the hook unit enters the hook locking unit. The sensing switch is installed in the hook locking unit to sense whether the hook unit enters the hook locking unit. A screw holding unit is provided on a predetermined portion of the locking step to hold a setscrew which functions to mount the hook locking unit to the cabinet.
