  • Patent number: 10467163
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first serial port having a first number of lanes usable to form a first multi-lane link to a solid state drive (SSD) and a second serial port having a second number of lanes that is at least twice the first number of lanes. A first subset of the second number of lanes constitutes a first logical serial port and is usable to form a second multi-lane link to a first transport fabric and a second subset of the second number of lanes constitutes a second logical serial port and is usable to form a third multi-lane link to a second transport fabric. The apparatus further includes a controller and a multiplexer to connect the first serial port to one of the first logical serial port or the second logical serial port.

  • Patent number: 7281862
Abstract: An apparatus including a heat sink compatible with a rail, the heat sink including two engagement windows that align with a corresponding pair of rail engagement windows when the apparatus is positioned in the rail. A handle engaged with the heat sink, the handle to enable a retention position and a retraction position of the apparatus. A first latch and a second latch laterally opposed and positioned within a first cavity and a second cavity, respectively, of the heat sink.

  • Patent number: 7064959
Abstract: An apparatus and method for releasably locking an optical transceiver with respect to a cage attached to an electrical board. The cage having a pair of inwardly biased locking tabs extending from the sides thereof. Each tab is moveable between an inner position and outer position corresponding to a locked and unlocked position respectively. The optical transceiver includes a pair of levers operable for engaging and moving the locking tabs between the biased inner position and the outer unlocked position. The locking mechanism includes a pair latches positioned on each side of the transceiver for engaging and moving the levers between first and second positions to lock and unlock the transceiver from the cage.

  • Patent number: 5482305
Abstract: A new wheel assembly (14), with a gear reducing hub (22), and including a new hand wheel assembly (30) mounted on a hand wheel hub (36) for a manual multispeed wheelchair (10), that has an improved shifting mechanism that allows easy shifting at user's hand level. A shifter (76) is rotated, which axially moves a shift member (52) to couple with drive chock openings (46) in direct drive or a planetary gear system (58) for low gear operation. The new wheel assembly (14) also includes a quick disconnect mechanism for easy change of the wheel assembly (14) from the wheelchair (10) without tools. A torque collar (144), on the inboard side of the hub (22), couples with a sleeve assembly (136) on the wheelchair (10) and allows torque to transfer directly from hub (22) to wheelchair (10).
