  • Patent number: 7394755
Abstract: A semi-fixed circuit has a plurality of flip flops connectable in series, a first selector and a second selector, and is capable of operations of a plurality of kinds of scrambler and the like. The first selector selects any one of an exclusive OR signal of an input signal and a first feedback signal, the first feedback signal and the input signal, and outputting the result to a first flip flop. The second selector is capable of selecting an exclusive OR signal of an output signal of a second flip flop and a second feedback signal, an output signal of the second flip flop and the second feedback signal, and outputting the result to the first selector as the first feedback signal.

  • Publication number: 20060248619
Abstract: A method for preparing a silver nano-structure by means of a scanning tunneling microscopy, which comprises using a probe being made of silver or having a surface coated with a thin silver film, and applying a voltage pulse to the probe, to thereby transfer a silver material from the probe onto the surface of a semiconductor substrate on a nano scale. The method allows the preparation with ease of a silver nano-structure exhibiting high electroconductivity and being optimal as a material for an electrode on an arbitrary place of a semiconductor substrate.

  • Patent number: 6894436
Abstract: In a drive method of a light-emitting display panel capable of emitting light in low luminance, the parasitic capacitances of the light-emitting elements disposed in the light-emitting display panel are precharged making use of a reverse bias voltage before they are lit. In this case, a reverse bias voltage created by a reverse bias voltage creation circuit or a peak current being precharged is controlled by selectively grounding control terminals based on dimmer control. In particular, when the light-emitting elements are emitted in low luminance, the reverse bias voltage is output in a low level, thereby the light-emitting elements are prevented from being precharged with an excessive voltage. The above arrangement can realize light emission control in low luminance.

  • Publication number: 20050081983
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a carbon nanotube electrode which is suited to quantity production and advantageous in cost, and a process for producing the same. When carbon nanotubes on respective catalyst particles 12 on an endless belt 3 gradually fall down to a horizontal position while moving around a driven drum 2 after traveling from a CVD zone to a transfer zone with the movement of the belt, the carbon nanotubes 11 have their outer ends pressed against a conductive film 8. The conductive film 8 is sent out from a film feeder 9 downward and heated by a heater 10 to a temperature not lower than the softening temperature of the film to below the melting temperature thereof. The carbon nanotubes 11 are transferred from the catalyst particles 12 to the conductive film 8 substantially perpendicular to the film surface by being pressed against the conductive film 8 in this way.

  • Publication number: 20050057780
Abstract: An image scanner device connected to a general information processing apparatus can be used on a network at a low cost, and further, the firmware of hardware for this purpose can be a maintenance-free firmware, thus user's convenience can be improved. A scanner/network connection apparatus 100 to connect a scanner 200 to a network 300 has an LCD server to drive a LCD as a display unit, a touch panel task to transmit a touch position on a touch panel, and a SCSI server to connect the scanner 200 to the network. A PC 500 to control the scanner has a virtual LCD driver, a virtual touch panel driver, and a virtual SCSI driver, operating to provide an environment as if the LCD, the touch panel and the image scanner of the scanner/network connection apparatus 100 are connected to the PC 500. The virtual LCD driver draws a screen image as a user interface for various operations, and the result of drawing is displayed on the LCD of the scanner/network connection apparatus 100.

  • Patent number: 6765600
Abstract: The present invention provides a time recorder with a card feed rate adjustment function making it possible to print data for arrival and departure times to and from a job side at a correct position within a print column by adjusting a feed rate for a time card according to extension or shrinkage of the time card or characteristics of the time card such as a printing state within the print column. An adjustment value is computed by reading a start point and an end point printed on a time card TA or TB inserted into the time recorder with the mark sensors 10, 11 and counting a feed rate for the time card TA or TB from the start point to the end point with the encoder sensor 12, and a feed rate for the car is adjusted according to the computed adjustment value.
