  • Patent number: 8135764
Abstract: An absolute path name and a command line of a process associated with a process operating on a business server are found from process information acquired from the business server. A standard process decision unit judges an OS standard process. An interpreter decision unit judges an interpreter name from the command line. A shared directory decision unit judges an executive file name located directly under a shared directory. A subdirectory decision unit judges a parent-child relation of an executive file directory from the absolute path name of the executable file. As a result, an application name recognition unit recognizes a name of an application.

  • Patent number: 8073938
Abstract: Using a service server list containing addresses of servers within a service system and an application list containing names of active applications within the service system, addresses of servers on which the active applications are running, and communication source addresses and communication destination addresses of the active applications, the following processes are carried out: specifying applications of a first layer in the service system from among applications lying within the service system; specifying applications of a second or subsequent layer in the service system from the application list and from addresses of servers on which the applications of the first layer are running; and judging applications having the same application name among applications belonging to the same layer as being of the same role for aggregation.

  • Patent number: 8069441
Abstract: To construct an operation environment for a job by deploying in a computer an operating system and various programs as a premise of operation of a job program of the job of which operation is to be started in a job system, there is selected an optimized construction procedure requiring the shortest construction time. Various application programs and patch programs for the deployment included in the saved disk images are compared with the various programs as a premise of the job operation to obtain a period of time to uninstall unnecessary programs, a period of time to install lacking programs, and a period of time to deploy the disk image on the computer. An estimated construction time is obtained by adding the periods of time to each other. By optimizing the uninstallation and installation procedure, the estimated construction time is reduced to the maximum extent.
