  • Patent number: 9645031
Abstract: A transmitting device which is disposed in a tire hollow region, and which transmits tire information relating to the state of the tire, comprises: a sensor which detects, as tire information, a state of a gas which is filled in the hollow region of a tire which is surrounded by the tire and a rim; a transmitter which wirelessly transmits the tire information; and a casing which houses the sensor and the transmitter therewithin. The casing further comprises a through hole which passes through a wall of the casing, and which extends in an orthogonal direction to a sensor detection face of the sensor. The surface area of an outer side aperture part of the through hole is 0.8 mm2 or less, and the sensor detection face faces an inner side aperture part of the casing inner side of the through hole without obstructing with the space.

  • Patent number: 9517666
Abstract: A vehicle wheel includes a rim that extends in the wheel circumferential direction, that includes a rim hump formed in a convex form projecting to the outside in the wheel radial direction, and a through hole formed on a rim inclined face that is slanted to an inside in the wheel radial direction on an inside in a wheel width direction from a top of the rim hump. When the tire is fitted, a tire cavity region facing the rim hump is formed. The wheel includes a tire valve fitted to the through hole and a tire information acquisition device installed in the tire cavity region on the tire valve that acquires tire information on the condition of gas filling the tire cavity region. A fitting is provided between the rim inclined face and the tire information acquisition device.

  • Patent number: 9358847
Abstract: A transmitter apparatus can detect and transmit tire information, such as tire air pressure information, even when a puncture in the tire is repaired by a repairing agent. The transmitter apparatus includes a sensor detecting the state of gas in a tire cavity region as tire information; a transmitter transmitting the detected tire information; and a wall covering the sensor and transmitter. The wall forms an internal space divided from the tire cavity region and includes a communicating hole providing communication between the internal space and tire cavity region. An inside opening part of the hole in a housing surface facing the internal space has a greater opening area than an outside opening part of the hole in the housing surface facing the tire cavity region. A wall surface facing the communicating hole includes a recessed part recessed toward the housing surface including the outside opening part.
