  • Patent number: 7990623
Abstract: An object is to reduce the effect of defocusing due to the movement of an image plane when a shifting lens group movable in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis for correcting hand jiggling is positionally deviated along the optical axis, thereby maintaining high optical performance at the time of correcting hand jiggling. A zoom lens 1 includes a plurality of lens groups with distances between the lens groups being changed for variable power. A final lens group L5 which is positioned most closely to an image side has a sub lens group GS (G8) having a positive refractive power and a sub lens group GR (G9) disposed adjacent to the sub lens group GS (G8) on the image side and having a positive refractive power. • Patent number: 7812468
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle has an engine control unit for an engine and a generator control unit for a power generator driven by the engine. The engine control unit calculates a permissive power generation torque, which is permitted to be used by the power generator, in accordance with a response delay of the engine. The generator control unit calculates a command power to be generated by the power generator so that a battery voltage variation and an engine speed variation are suppressed to be less than respective allowable variation limits, when a power difference is caused between a required power and a permissive power generated by the permissive torque.

  • Publication number: 20100241376
Abstract: An ECU calculates an evaluation value decrease amount D(?) in response to a reduction of unevenness of lithium ion concentration caused by diffusion of lithium ions resulting from a lapse of one cycle time ?T, calculates an evaluation value increase amount D(+) in response to an increase of the unevenness of the lithium ion concentration caused by discharging during a lapse of one cycle time ?T, and calculates a present value D(N) of a battery deterioration evaluation value D due to high-rate discharging, as a previous value D(N?1)?evaluation value decrease amount D(?)+evaluation value increase amount D(+). If battery deterioration evaluation value D exceeds a predetermined target value E, the ECU sets a discharging power limit value WOUT that is a limit value of electric power to be discharged from a battery, to a value lower than a maximum value W(MAX).

  • Publication number: 20100204861
Abstract: During use of a secondary battery, a concentration change ratio estimating unit estimates a ratio of change in electrolytic solution concentration based on a charging/discharging current. According to the estimated ratio of change, a concentration estimated value calculating unit sequentially calculates an electrolytic solution concentration estimated value during the use of the secondary battery. Based on the estimated electrolytic solution concentration estimated value, a determining unit determines whether or not the electrolytic solution concentration is within a normal range. When the electrolytic solution concentration is outside the normal range, a charging/discharging condition modifying unit modifies a charging/discharging condition of the secondary battery to bring the electrolytic solution concentration back to the normal range, thus avoiding a tendency of overcharge or a tendency of overdischarge.
