Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications, and discloses a terminal location capability reporting method and device. The method comprises: an access and mobility management function (AMF) entity obtains and stores a terminal location capability of a terminal, and after a location service for a target terminal arrives, if the terminal location capability of the target terminal is stored in the AMF entity, the AMF entity transmits the terminal location capability of the target terminal to a location management function (LMF) entity, so that the LMF sets a location method for the target terminal according to the terminal location capability. In the process above, when the LMF entity needs to obtain the terminal location capability of the target terminal, the terminal location capability of the target terminal can be directly obtained from the AMF entity, and there is no need to interact with the terminal to obtain the terminal location capability.

Abstract: The present application provides an MBS data transmission method, and a network side apparatus and a device. The method includes obtaining, for a UE which moves to a target cell and is in a in-active state, MBS session context related information from a source cell by sending a UE context request message to the source cell, and after the target cell establishes an MBS session context, performing MBS data transmission. The solution provided by the present application solves the existing problem that the MBS service transmission continuity cannot be ensured for a UE in the in-active state.

In embodiments of the present application, first, a DU determines that an inter-CU handover is required and then sends an F1 interface establishment request to a target CU, the F1 interface establishment request indicating that the reason for the establishment is the inter-CU handover for the DU; upon receiving the F1 interface establishment request sent from the DU, the target CU returns an F1 interface establishment response to the DU; upon receiving the F1 interface establishment response returned by the target CU, the DU sends to a source CU a message for instructing the DU to perform the inter-CU handover; and then, the DU is handed over from the source CU to the target CU.
