  • Patent number: 11919196
Abstract: A manufacturing system includes a tape advancing through the manufacturing system and a station of the manufacturing system. The tape includes a first portion having grains of an inorganic material bound by an organic binder. The station of the manufacturing system receives the first portion of the tape and prepares the tape for sintering by chemically changing the organic binder and/or removing the organic binder from the first portion of the tape, leaving the grains of the inorganic material, to form a second portion of the tape and, at least in part, prepare the tape for sintering.

  • Patent number: 8899990
Abstract: Mounting systems can releasably secure display devices to preexisting surfaces for convenient installation and removal without external tools. A mounting system can comprise lower magnetic assemblies, upper magnetic assemblies, and a mounting sheet. The lower magnetic assemblies can be secured to a rear surface of a display device, for releasably attaching the display device to a preexisting surface. A bottom portion of the mounting sheet can be secured to the rear surface of the display device, while a top portion of the mounting sheet can remain loose from the rear surface. The upper magnetic assemblies can be provided along the loose top portion of the mounting sheet, for releasably attaching the display device to the preexisting surface. The upper magnetic assemblies can retain their connection to the preexisting surface as the display device is pulled away from the preexisting surface, until a threshold condition is met.

  • Publication number: 20120069054
Abstract: Electronic display systems include mobile units for remotely modifying a displayed image. An electronic display system can include a display surface, a processing device, a mobile unit, and an input device. The display surface can receive and display an image rendered by the processing device. The display image on the display surface can be modified through interaction of the input device and the mobile unit. The input device can sense its position relative to the mobile unit and can transmit data relating to its position to the processing device. The processing device can interpret the position data as operations on the displayed image. Accordingly, the processing device can modify the displayed image on the display surface based on interactions between the input device and the mobile unit.

  • Publication number: 20070215020
Abstract: The subject invention relates generally to methods and apparatuses for calcining gypsum. The apparatuses and methods place a gypsum particle optimizer in close association with the impact mill so that all the gypsum supplied to the impact mill has to enter the gypsum particle optimizer prior to the gypsum entering the impact mill, and so that heat generated from the impact mill enters into the gypsum particle optimizer from the impact mill. The gypsum particle optimizer utilizes a rotor to disperse the gypsum throughout the gypsum particle optimizer so that the gypsum is exposed to the heat from the impact mill prior to entering the impact mill. The exposure to the heat removes free water from the gypsum prior to the gypsum entering the impact mill.
