  • Publication number: 20240169620
Abstract: An improved algorithm and technique for use in interactive graphics is disclosed. The new algorithm works by keeping three values in fast, memoryless pixel local storage for coverage counting (store the current coverage count at the pixel being covered), original framebuffer color (stores the color that was in the framebuffer at the pixel being covered immediately before the current path starts rendering), and the path ID (stores the unique ID of the last path to be drawn at the current pixel). The framebuffer is accessed from a fourth, texture-backed, pixel local storage plane.

  • Publication number: 20240169613
Abstract: An improved algorithm and technique for use in interactive graphics is disclosed. The new algorithm is configured to render a path, which may be stroked quickly using shaders. However, it should be recognized that it is common for path strokes and fills to be interleaved, and an application can quickly become bottlenecked by GPU state changes if it uses a separate shader for stroking. The present invention discloses a single-pass GPU shader that is capable of either stroking or filling a path, and can batch together any number or combination of strokes and fills.

  • Patent number: 11987464
Abstract: A front end conveyor include a lower deck having a plurality of lower sheet supports, an upstream upper deck having an upstream end at the upstream end of the front end conveyor, a downstream end and a plurality of first upper sheet guides and a downstream upper deck having an upstream end, a downstream end at the downstream end of the front end conveyor, and a plurality of second upper sheet guides. The lower sheet supports and the upper sheet guides define a sheet transport path for moving sheets of material though the conveyor. The downstream end of the upstream upper deck and the upstream end of the downstream upper deck are independently pivotably mounted to the frame such that the upstream end of the upstream upper deck and the downstream end of the downstream upper deck shiftable toward and away from the lower deck.

  • Publication number: 20240159230
Abstract: A compressor assembly having a high velocity muffler system which produces a particle-free compressor pump feed while reducing noise output from the compressor assembly during compressing operations. The high velocity muffler system is maintenance-free and comprises an inertia filter. The compressor assembly uses a method for producing a compressor pump feed and reducing noise during compressing operations by processing a gas through the high velocity muffler system which has an inertia filter and a muffler chamber to produce a compressor pump feed which can be compressed by a pump assembly.

  • Patent number: 11982607
Abstract: In order to determine a rheological property of a fluid, the fluid is conveyed with a constant volume flow rate through a nozzle and the fluid strand thereby generated is deposited on a substrate. A relative movement takes place between the nozzle and the substrate at a forward feed velocity value. A contour of the liquid strand between the nozzle and the substrate is optically measured, and an extensional viscosity as a rheological property is deduced from knowledge of the volume flow rate, the forward feed velocity value and the contour of the fluid strand.
