  • Patent number: 12272633
Abstract: An isolation capacitor structure reduces the likelihood of breakdown in the passivation layers by physically re-shaping or dividing the top plate of the isolation capacitor into two segments. In that way, the electric field is driven down and away from the passivation surfaces. One embodiment utilizes a series capacitor formed by the top metal plate of the capacitor and an additional “top hat” plate above the top metal plate that redirects the fields into the main isolation capacitor. Vias may be included between the top hat plate and the top metal plate. Another approach reshapes the top plate to have an integrated top hat structure and achieves similar results of directing charge down and away from the passivation layer surface breakdown paths.

  • Patent number: 12272123
Abstract: A method for training a generator for images from a semantic map that assigns to each pixel of the image a semantic meaning of an object to which this pixel belongs. The images generated by the generator and the at least one real training image that belong to the same semantic training map are supplied to a discriminator. The discriminator ascertains a semantic segmentation of the image assigned to it, the segmentation assigning a semantic meaning to each pixel of this image. From the semantic segmentation ascertained by the discriminator, it is evaluated whether the image supplied to the discriminator is a generated image or a real training image.

  • Publication number: 20250112919
Abstract: Some embodiments construct a device fingerprint of a target device (e.g., personal computer, smartphone) by intercepting an access request issued by the target device. A part of the device fingerprint may be determined according to the access request, e.g., according to various features of a TLS handshake, TCP header, and/or HTTP header of the respective access request. Another part of the device fingerprint is determined by transmitting a fingerprinting probe to the target device in response to the access request, and using executable code included in the fingerprinting probe to extract a set of features characterizing a browser executing on the target device. Some embodiments then compare the device fingerprint with reference fingerprints determined for other devices on the same network, to determine whether the target device is a familiar device or not. Exemplary applications include access control and personalized content distribution, among others.
