    Abstract: A first radio station of a group of radio stations identifies at least one adjacent radio station of the group while using a first radio interface. The first radio station then transmits information concerning the at least one adjacent radio station, which is determined by the first radio station, to a second radio station in the group using a second radio interface. Afterwards, the second radio station transmits path information to the first radio station using the second radio interface. From the path information, it can be inferred with regard to every other radio station of the group, to which radio station respectively adjacent to the first radio station a message addressed to the respective other radio station of the group is to be sent by the first radio station using the first interface.

    Abstract: In a case where an access point lies outside the direct radio transmission range of a first radio station of a radio communications system, and a routing runs between the first radio station and the access point that includes at least one additional radio station is known to the first radio station and the access point, information can be transmitted from the first radio station to the access point and from the latter to the first radio station via the routing. When the access point receives information relating to an interruption in the known routing from a radio station in the routing, the first radio station downstream of the access point is informed of the interruption in the known routing and subsequently initiates a process for determining a new routing between the first radio station and the access point.

    Abstract: A method determines a routing for radio transmission between a first and a second radio station of a radio communication system, said system having a plurality of additional radio stations in addition to the first and the second radio stations. The routing passes through at least two of the additional radio stations, in such a way that information can be transmitted by radio between the first and the second radio stations via the routing. The system is provided with a radio communication device, which recognizes adjacent relationships between the radio stations of the radio communications systems. The radio communication device specifies a sub-group of the radio stations in the routing in response to a request for the determination of a routing between the first and the second radio stations and transmits respective radio stations identification information relating to one ore more radio stations in the sub-group of radio stations to the first and/or second radio station(s).

A path between the first and the second radio station consists of a succession of radio stations that, in addition to the first radio station and the second radio station, optionally include the radio stations, which are located in the succession between the first and second radio stations and which receive and relay the items of information.
