  • Publication number: 20170139262
Abstract: A polarizer includes a polarizer base and a plurality of protrusive microstructures being arranged on the polarizer base. The microstructure includes at least two layers of curing-light or thermosetting resin materials. The manufacturing method of the curing-light or thermosetting resin materials includes: providing a polarizer base and coating at least two layers of curing-light or thermosetting resin materials on the polarizer base; and arranging a plurality of lighting dots or heating dots on the curing-light or thermosetting resin materials such that the curing-light or thermosetting resin materials shrink and the lighting dots or heating dots are centers of the shrinkage to form a plurality of protrusive microstructures. In addition, a liquid crystal panel includes the above-mentioned polarizer.

  • Publication number: 20170102486
Abstract: A polarizing film and a liquid crystal display device comprising the polarizing film are disclosed. The polarizing film comprises a base layer; an antiglare layer that is arranged on the base layer and is configured to have a first concave-convex structure; and a second concave-convex structure that is arranged on a surface of the first concave-convex structure, wherein a height of the second concave-convex structure from a bottom to a top thereof is configured to be less than a wavelength of visible light. In the polarizing film, the incident light can be scattered by the first concave-convex structure, so that mura can be shielded, the reflection of ambient light can be reduced, and the atomizing level can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20160367671
Abstract: There is provided a nanoparticle composition comprising a central core portion including magnetic nanoparticles adapted to act as a heat source and a chemotherapeutic agent configured to treat cancer tissues in issue, a shell portion including a shell member encapsulating the core portion, antibodies configured to target cancer stem cells in issue and adhered to surface of said shell member. There is also provided a method comprising a step of exposing a target site in which the cancer cells reside to an energy source for effecting elevation of temperature of the magnetic nanoparticles, and release of the chemotherapeutic agent from the shell portion for destroying the cancer cells of the composition-cancer cell complex in the target site, wherein the energy source is an alternating magnetic field whereby extent of elevation of temperature and release of the chemotherapeutic agent is controllable by the alternating magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 7751815
Abstract: The present non-terrestrial feature transparency system spoofs the Air-to-Ground Network and the ground-based cellular communication network into thinking that the wireless subscriber devices have no special considerations associated with their operation, even though the wireless subscriber devices are located on an aircraft in flight. This architecture requires that the non-terrestrial feature transparency system on board the aircraft replicate the full functionality of a given wireless subscriber device, that has a certain predetermined feature set from a ground-based wireless service provider, at another wireless subscriber device located within the aircraft. This mirroring of wireless subscriber device attributes enables a localized cell for in-cabin communication yet retains the same wireless subscriber device attributes for the air-to-ground link.
