Abstract: According to some embodiments, a material and a method of providing thermal and acoustical insulation with an insulating shield that is moldable and self-supporting insulating shield, is presented. The shield includes a nonwoven material and an oleophobic coating applied to the outer surface of the nonwoven material. The oleophobic coating includes a percent add-on (% AO) of less than approximately 3% AO and a penetration into the surface of the nonwoven material of less than approximately 10%.

Abstract: Functional encryption keys can be selected based on a set of criteria that facilitates efficient decryption of ciphertexts. The method includes electronically storing one or more decryption key metadata parameters for a plurality of candidate decryption keys for a functional encryption ciphertext, storing a functional encryption ciphertext, extracting a scheme type of functional input from the ciphertext, extracting a functional input from the ciphertext, searching the metadata parameters to identify a set of candidate keys matching the scheme type of the ciphertext, searching the set of candidate keys to identify a key matching the extracted functional input, and selecting one of the identified candidate keys matching the scheme type and the extracted functional input as a decryption key for the functional encryption ciphertext.

Abstract: An apparatus for detecting ground faults in a multifurnace installation with at least two induction furnaces and a multifurnace installation are described. A ground-fault sensor is associated with each induction furnace and is connected to the electrical supply line to the induction furnace coil. Furthermore, the apparatus has a ground-leak sensor. Moreover, the apparatus includes an additional ground-fault sensor that measures at the same location as the ground-leak sensor. In this manner an improvement of security during the operation of the system is obtained.
