  • Patent number: 11875687
Abstract: A method may include receiving, from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a first message via a first network using User Datagram Protocol (UDP). The method may further include determining whether a second message that is identical to the first message has been received from the UAV via a second network that is different than the first network. The method may additionally include processing the first message when the second message has not been received and discarding the first message when the second message has been received.

  • Publication number: 20240008807
Abstract: Disclosed techniques include wound care image analysis using light signatures. A light wavelength is excited on a material sample. The exciting enables capture of fluorescence characteristics of the material sample. The material sample exhibits fluorescence characteristics along the Red-Green-Blue light wavelength spectrum. The material sample is illuminated with at least three additional light wavelengths. The illuminating enables capture of reflectance characteristics of the material sample. The material sample exhibits reflectance characteristics along the Red-Green-Blue light wavelength spectrum. An output indicative of biophysical status of the material sample is generated. The output is based on analysis of the fluorescence characteristics and the reflectance characteristics. The analysis includes identifying a wound topology within the material sample. The wound topology is identified based on measurements in the wound sample. A thermal image of the material sample is captured.

  • Publication number: 20230418392
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for providing enhanced accessibility to access keys across a variety of keyboard layouts (or other character input devices). In particular, systems described herein involve determining access key characters to display in conjunction with selectable inputs via a graphical user interface (GUI) of a computing device where the access key characters are selectively determined based on display characters that are mapped to specific keys on a particular keyboard layout. This enables access key characters of all kinds (not limited to Latin-based types) to be provided in conjunction with selectable icons in a way that enables an individual to use the access keys with any type of keyboard or other input device.

  • Patent number: 11846265
Abstract: A pressure-regulating buoyant hydrodynamic pump is disclosed that floats adjacent to a surface of a body of water over which waves tend to pass. In response to wave-induced movements of the device, water is drawn into a mouth at a lower end of an injection tube, and water is ejected from a mouth at an upper end of the injection tube. The ejected water is deposited into an interior of the hollow buoy thereby augmenting a water reservoir therein. And water flows from the water reservoir to and through a water turbine, thereby energizing a generator, power electronics, and an electrical load. A novel water-turbine effluent buffering tube, or chamber, smooths pressure variations felt across the water turbine.

  • Patent number: 11841889
Abstract: A user interface displays: a first column comprising non-editable input strings retrieved from a data field; a second column comprising editable output strings initialized from the data field; and an expression window displaying a transformation function ƒ. The computer iteratively processes user inputs, each user input i providing a sample row transformation to edit an ith output string ti. Some user inputs i designate a contiguous substring ssi of the corresponding input string si. The contiguous substring expresses a causal basis for transforming the input string si. into the output string ti. The computer updates the transformation function ƒ according to the provided sample row transformations so that: ƒ(s1)=t1, . . . , ƒ(si)=ti; the transformation function ƒ specifies text or string position of at least one contiguous substring; and ƒ has minimal branching among possible transformation functions that satisfy the samples.

  • Publication number: 20230394355
Abstract: An artificial intelligence (AI) model management system is disclosed. The system may receive data, such as image data, as part of a task to be completed. The system may apply an AI model, such as a machine learning algorithm, to the data. The system may also generate performance data based on performance of the AI model, and determine whether to route AI model results for verification. During verification, one or more inputs are received indicating whether the AI model results are correct and, if not correct, a correct result. The system may determine which inputs indicate a correct result if, for example, the inputs do not indicate the same correct result. The AI model may be trained in real-time based on the verified or corrected results. In some examples, the system causes one or more actions to be taken upon completion of the task.

  • Publication number: 20230383722
Abstract: A buoyant wave energy device is disclosed that incorporates an open-bottomed tube of substantial length in which is partially enclosed a first body of water that oscillates in response to wave action. The device incorporates a buoy to which an upper end of the tube is connected and inside of which is trapped a second body of water of substantial mass. A differential phase in the oscillations of the water trapped in the tube, and the oscillations of the buoy of augmented mass, result in the periodic compression of a pocket of air trapped at the top of the tube, and in the subsequent expulsion of pressurized air through a turbine, thereby generating electrical power.

  • Patent number: 11824792
Abstract: A system for facilitating sender-side congestion control is provided. During operation, the system, on a sender node, can determine the utilization of a buffer at a last-hop switch to a receiver node based on in-flight packets to the receiver node. The receiver node can be reachable from the sender node via the last-hop switch. The system can then determining a fraction of available space in the buffer for packets from the sender node based on the utilization of the buffer. Subsequently, the system can determine whether the fraction of the available space in the buffer can accommodate a next packet from the sender node while avoiding congestion at the buffer at the receiver node. If the fraction of the available space in the buffer can accommodate the next packet, the system can allow the sender node to send the next packet to the receiver node.
