  • Patent number: 11560750
Abstract: Composite door systems are provided for use in a protective barrier structure. The composite door systems provide for quick assembly, safety, security, and resistance to physical impacts or threats. The composite door systems may include a shell and a core that can be factory completed or finished on site. The shell may be shipped to the assembly location of the barrier structure, and the core may be formed on site by pouring liquid fill material into a cavity of the shell, which is allowed to cure into a solid fill material. Hardware housings may be operatively coupled to the shell that are made to receive door hardware but resist the liquid full material from filling the hardware housings. The shell, core, and/or hardware housings may provide resistance to damage, such as projectiles to provide enhanced security protection to the occupants or contents of the building structure.

  • Publication number: 20220389748
Abstract: A frame may comprise three or more portions comprising an upper portion disposed adjacent an upper end of an opening and two side portions disposed along either edge of the opening, and in some cases a lower portion adjacent a lower end of an opening. A first frame segment and the second frame segment are adjustable with respect to each other in order to extend around the thickness of the opening. A third segment, such as a soffit segment may be utilized to cover at least a portion of the segments. The first frame segment, the second frame segment, and/or the soffit segment may have one or more barriers located between portions of the segments. • Publication number: 20220389749
Abstract: A frame may include three or more portions having an upper portion disposed adjacent an upper end of an opening and two side portions disposed along either edge of the opening, and in some cases a lower portion when the opening is for a window or some doors. A first frame segment and the second frame segment are adjustable with respect to each other in order to extend around the thickness of the door opening. The segments may have one or more thermal barriers, such as a seal (e.g., u-shaped, v-shaped, or the like seal) located between portions of the segments. The first frame segment may be adjusted with respect to the second frame segment. The adjustment of the segments may be made before or after the one or more thermal barriers are installed.

  • Publication number: 20220389757
Abstract: A sliding door system having one or more sliding doors, door frames (e.g., static frames of different sizes for different wall thicknesses or adjustable frames that can be used to fit different wall thicknesses), sliding door hardware (e.g., tracks, wheels, soft closers, stops, or the like), header, door receiver, a plurality of seals, or the like. The sliding door system utilizes improvements to the components in order to provide security features, such as electromagnetic (EMC—EMI/RFI) shielding, sound resistance, blast resistance, forced entry and/or ballistic resistance, privacy features, light reduction, fire and/or smoke resistance, or the like to the sliding door system. In particular, the sliding door system allows for the use of the security features with the static or adjustable door frames described herein.

  • Publication number: 20220361953
Abstract: An implanted article physical referencing apparatus comprises a guide body, a first guide shaft and a second guide shaft. The guide body includes a plurality of guide shaft receptacles therein. A longitudinal axis of each of the guide shaft receptacles extends substantially parallel to a longitudinal reference axis of the guide body. The first and second guide shafts each have a proximate end portion and a distal end portion. The proximate end portion of the first guide shaft includes an exterior surface adapted for being engaged with a corresponding interior surface of a selected one of the guide shaft receptacles to constrain unrestricted relative movement between the first guide shaft and the guide body. The proximate end portion of the second guide shaft is attached to the guide body. A longitudinal axis of the second guide shaft extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal reference axis of the guide body.

  • Patent number: 11489690
Abstract: A method of storing a communication path between neighboring home-control networks is provided. Each home-control network includes a network controller and a plurality of network devices. Each network device is configured to transmit and receive messages using at least one of powerline signaling and radio frequency signaling. A server receives a notification from a first network controller indicating that a first network device within a first home-control network received a message transmitted from a second network device within a second home-control network. The server stores an indication of a communication path from the server to the first network device via the second home-control network in a memory of the server.

  • Publication number: 20210116258
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to enhanced telematics processing systems with improved third party source data integration features and enhanced customized driving output determinations. A computing platform may receive telematics data and third party source data. The computing platform may enrich the telematics data using the third party source data. After generating the enriched telematics data, the computing platform may use machine learning algorithms and datasets to validate the enriched telematics data. The computing platform may ingest, via a batch ingestion process, the enriched telematics data. For example, the computing platform may store the enriched telematics data and generate additional enriched telematics data until expiration of a predetermined period of time. The computing platform may ingest the enriched telematics data associated with each trip. Once the enriched telematics data has been ingested, the computing platform may generate a standardized common trip format output for each trip.

  • Patent number: 10985695
Abstract: An arc detection method includes classifying whether an arc fault is present in the power system by, for each of a plurality of bins of a current frame of a signal, marking the bin as a candidate bin if a magnitude spectrum of the bin meets first criteria; determining a number of candidate bins in the current frame; marking the number of candidate bins as candidate cluster bins if the number of candidate bins exceeds a minimum cluster size; for each of the candidate cluster bins, determining whether the candidate cluster bin is also a candidate cluster bin of a previous frame of the first signal and if so, identifying the current frame as a candidate frame and incrementing a candidate frame count; and if the candidate frame count exceeds a candidate frame count threshold, determining that an arc fault is present in the power system.
