  • Publication number: 20110020720
Abstract: In a power supply with n interlaced conversion cells, a control device activates m paths out of n paths, 1?m?n, as a function of the power or of the current handled by the power supply. The cell may have a boost, buck, buck/boost, Cuk, or SEPIC topology.

  • Patent number: 7791915
Abstract: The invention concerns an electric converter for fuel cell (P) comprising current inverter means (2), the electric converter comprising a voltage step-down chopper (1) mounted between the fuel cell (P) and the current inverter means (2), wherein, under the action of a command signal applied to the voltage step-down chopper (1): the value of the mean voltage at the input of the current inverter means is lowered to a threshold value (Vs) in the cell electrode activation zone, the value of the mean voltage at the input of the current inverter means (2) is maintained at the voltage value at the cell terminals (Vp) in the cell resistance zone, and the output current of the converter is limited when the output current from the current inverter means (2) reaches a maximum set value (Imax).

  • Publication number: 20100164459
Abstract: A voltage limiter device of an assembly of photovoltaic modules, including: (a) means (Z1) forming an electronic switch for a current of said assembly; (b) comparison means (Comp, R1, R2, C2) for comparing a voltage at the output of the limiter with a reference voltage value (Vref); and (c) means for controlling the means forming an electronic switch, depending on the result of the comparison carried out by the comparison means.

  • Patent number: 7255839
Abstract: A device for treating a substance containing at least one undesirable organism, using a pulsed electrical field. The device includes at least one treatment zone of the substance located within a passage zone associated with the substance. Each treatment zone is only partially located within the associated passage zone. The device also includes a mechanism to create movement for displacing each treatment zone of the substance in the entire associated passage zone.

  • Publication number: 20060006913
Abstract: The integrated circuit comprises subassemblies connected in series enabling synchronization of the subassemblies to be achieved in simple manner. Each subassembly comprises a first and a second power supply terminal and a clock input. The subassemblies are connected in series to the terminals of a voltage supply source so that the same current flows through the different subassemblies. The clock input of each subassembly is connected to a common clock circuit by means of devices for shifting the clock signal levels, for example comprising capacitors and/or transistors. Each subassembly can comprise a decoupling capacitor and a voltage limiting circuit between its first and second power supply terminals.
