  • Publication number: 20200333501
Abstract: An NMR logging system is disclosed which continues logging without interruption despite switching activation sets to adapt to changes in formation properties. Based on detection of an approaching or encountered geological boundary, an appropriate activation set is transmitted to the downhole NMR tool while the NMR tool continues logging. This system optimizes NMR data collection for each formation and associated formation fluid properties while reducing the need to stop the tool string movement while switching the activation set, and reduces incomplete collection of NMR and non-NMR logging tool data.

  • Publication number: 20200334416
Abstract: A natural language understanding method begins with a radiological report text containing clinical findings. Errors in the text are corrected by analyzing character-level optical transformation costs weighted by a frequency analysis over a corpus corresponding to the report text. For each word within the report text, a word embedding is obtained, character-level embeddings are determined, and the word and character-level embeddings are concatenated to a neural network which generates a plurality of NER tagged spans for the report text. A set of linked relationships are calculated for the NER tagged spans by generating masked text sequences based on the report text and determined pairs of potentially linked NER spans. A dense adjacency matrix is calculated based on attention weights obtained from providing the one or more masked text sequences to a Transformer deep learning network, and graph convolutions are then performed over the calculated dense adjacency matrix.

  • Patent number: 10807426
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-link rear suspension for a motor vehicle, having at least one transverse leaf spring arranged on the motor vehicle to extend in the transverse vehicle direction and having ends which operatively act on left and right wheel carriers to cushion a vehicle structure of the motor vehicle with respect to the wheel-carriers. The transverse leaf spring also serves as a stabilizer, thereby replacing dedicated stabilizer. In order to provide a multi-link rear suspension which is optimized in terms of structural space and which is lightweight, the multi-link rear has exclusively transverse links for guiding the wheel-carriers.

  • Patent number: 10802485
Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program product are provided to facilitate the navigation of a vehicle, such as an autonomous vehicle, utilizing map data in which the quality associated with the map data is provided in a more computationally efficient manner. In the context of a method a plurality of different types of sensor data are received including map data, camera data and detector data. The method determines a quality index associated with the map data and weights the reliance upon the map data relative to other types of sensor data based upon the quality index associated with the map data. The method further includes determining navigation information for the vehicle based at least partly upon the weighting of the map data relative to other types of sensor data.

  • Patent number: 10799182
Abstract: Frames of a video frame sequence capturing one or more skin regions of a body are provided to a first neural network. The first neural network generates respective appearance representations based on the frames. An appearance representation generated based on a particular frame is indicative of a spatial distribution of a physiological signal across the particular frame. Simultaneously with providing the frames to the first neural network, the frames are also provided to a second neural network. The second neural network determines the physiological signal based on the frames. Determining the physiological signal by the second neural network includes applying the appearance representations, generated by the first neural network, to outputs of one or more layers of the second neural network to emphasize regions, in the frames, that exhibit relatively stronger presence of the physiological signal and deemphasize regions, in the frames, that exhibit relatively weaker presence of physiological signal.

  • Publication number: 20200305006
Abstract: An access point (AP) station (STA) (AP STA) may be configured to operate as a multi-AP controller in a multi-AP network. A multi-AP group formation message is encoded for transmission to other APs in the multi-AP network. The multi-AP group formation message is encoded to notify the APs of the formation of an extremely-high throughput (EHT) multi-AP group, to designate whether an AP is a member of an EHT multi-AP group, and whether an AP can take the role of a coordinator AP or coordinated AP within the EHT multi-AP group. For multi-AP joint processing, the AP STA is further configured to encode an AP trigger frame for transmission to the APs in the multi-AP network. The AP trigger frame is to trigger physical layer (PHY) and medium-access control layer (MAC) parameter synchronization. The AP trigger frame is to trigger transmission of aggregated MAC protocol data units (A-MPDUs) by the APs that include MAC parameters and PHY parameters.
