Abstract: Provided herein are antibodies, or antigen binding portions thereof, that bind to T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3 (TIM3) protein. Also provided are uses of these antibodies, or antigen binding portions thereof, in therapeutic applications, such as treatment of cancer. Further provided are cells that produce the antibodies, or antigen binding portions thereof, polynucleotides encoding the heavy and/or light chain regions of the antibodies, or antigen binding portions thereof, and vectors comprising the polynucleotides encoding the heavy and/or light chain regions of the antibodies, or antigen binding portions thereof.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for crowdsourcing metadata, such as to create, maintain, utilize, and/or communicate metadata in a datastore. Some embodiments are particularly directed to collecting, managing, and/or distributing metadata via a user interface application (UIA), or an extension thereof. Many embodiments may facilitate collaborative creation of a repository for metadata, such as notes, characteristics, and/or statistics corresponding to data viewed with the user interface application. For example, the comments regarding websites may be collected from a first user via a first instantiation of the web browser extension and distributed to a second user via a second instantiation of the web browser extension. In several embodiments, the metadata may be collected and managed with instantiations of the web browser extension (herein after “WBE instants”) and a data manager may create, maintain, utilize, and/or communicate metadata in a datastore.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating an interface that allows users to select and categorize particular waste items in real-time, for subsequent automated sorting. For example, detecting and identifying waste items, presenting them on a display, and allowing users to select items from the display and categorize them by selecting and dragging highlighted items to appropriate category affordances presented on the display.

Abstract: Systems and processes for converting waste plastics and other waste materials to useful end products. The systems integrate a plastics pyrolysis reactor and a liquid phase thermal cracking reactor to advantageously process the waste plastics to form various hydrocarbon products.

Abstract: The present document describes devices and methods for rendering multiple live-streams on a user interface (UI) with minimal resources. The UI is activated, having a first set of remote sensors loaded for rendering. The first set of remote sensors receive a first activation signal and begin streaming first data, which the UI renders. Respondent to an action changing the set of remote sensors to be rendered on the UI, a second set of remote sensors are loaded for rendering. The second set of remote sensors receive a second activation signal and begin streaming second data, which the UI renders while the first set of remote sensors continue streaming the first data. The first data is no longer streamed after a threshold time is reached.

Abstract: Historical sleep metrics are accessed. Historical sensor data is accessed. Incidences of low quality sleep experienced by the user are identified. Particular environmental conditions that affected the user during the incidences of low quality sleep are identified. A corrective plan that specifies a change to an environmental control system to reduce the particular environmental conditions is created. The behavior of the environmental control system is modified such that the environmental control system reduces the particular environmental conditions when the user sleeps in the bed.

Abstract: Expandable hip stem implants, systems, and methods of implanting a hip stem during a hip arthroplasty are provided. The implant may include a proximal body having a neck terminating at a free end, a distal stem having a proximal portion coupled to the proximal body and a distal portion, and a plurality of expandable bodies aligned around the distal stem. The plurality of expandable bodies have a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration such that the plurality of expandable bodies expand radially outward away from one another.

Abstract: There is disclosed a method of operating a user equipment in a radio access network, the method including communicating based on a control information message received while operating on a first bandwidth part; wherein the control information message represents a bit pattern; wherein the bit pattern is interpreted differently depending on whether the control information message indicates switch to operating on a second bandwidth part or not. Abstract: Combustion systems and associated methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a combustion system comprises a first combustion zone, a second combustion zone downstream of the first combustion zone, and a heat module thermally coupled to the first combustion zone and/or second combustion zone. The first combustion zone is configured to (i) receive and combust preheated air and a first fuel and (ii) generate a first exhaust gas, and the second combustion zone is configured to (i) receive and combust the first exhaust gas and a second fuel and (ii) generate a second exhaust gas. The first exhaust gas can have a first excess air and the second exhaust gas can have a second excess air less than the first excess air. The heat module can comprise a thermionic converter or another heat-to-electricity converter able to generate a power output.

Abstract: A qubit device includes an elongated thin film uninterrupted by Josephson junctions, a quantum device in electrical contact with a proximal end of the elongated thin film, and a ground plane that is co-planar with the elongated thin film and is in electrical contact with a distal end of the elongated thin film, in which the thin film, the quantum device, and the ground plane comprise a material that is superconducting at a designed operating temperature.

The method includes obtaining an apparatus comprising a water-permeable absorbent material, wherein the water-permeable absorbent material is a sponge, cloth, or mesh which has a first outer surface and an opposing second outer surface and a composition comprising citric acid and vitamin C, retinol, or hyaluronic acid, wherein the composition is comprised between the first outer surface and the opposing second outer surface of the water-permeable absorbent material, wherein the water-permeable absorbent material is configured to absorb water and allow the absorbed water to contact the composition so as to release, solubilize, or release and solubilize the composition, placing the apparatus in water for a sufficient period of time so as to release, solubilize, or release and solubilize the composition, and contacting the person's skin with the released or solubilized composition to cleanse the person's skin.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein describe methods of forming semiconductor devices. The methods may include etching vias and trenches in a middle-of-line (MOL) layer that has a low-k dielectric layer, a sacrificial nitride layer, and a hard mask layer. The methods may also include depositing a thin nitride layer within the via trench, depositing a carbon layer on the thin nitride layer within the vias and trenches, etching back the thin nitride layer to expose a portion of the hard mask layer, removing the hard mask layer and the carbon layer, and removing the thin nitride layer and the sacrificial nitride layer.

In one aspect, a method includes the actions of: generating resonator response data, comprising, for each of two computational states of the qubit: for each of multiple qubit drive frequencies: for each of multiple resonator drive frequencies: preparing the qubit in the computational state; applying a first drive pulse with the resonator drive frequency to the resonator, applying a second drive pulse with the qubit drive frequency to the qubit; measuring the state of the qubit; and processing the generated resonator response data to determine the dispersive shift or linewidth of the resonator.

Abstract: A method to achieve variable properties of a component using a coating free press hardened steel comprises: transferring a blank of a coating free press hardened steel (CFPHS) material having base blank properties into a heating unit having multiple induction heating coils; heating the blank within the heating unit to create a modified blank having differing modified blank properties throughout the modified blank compared to base blank properties; moving the modified blank out of the heating unit into a die; and forming a shaped part by operation of the die creating a finished CFPHS part.

Abstract: Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) configured to operate in a radio access network (RAN). Such methods include receiving, from a radio node in the RAN, a new feedback indicator (NFI) that indicates whether acknowledgement signaling previously scheduled for transmission by the UE was received by the radio node. The acknowledgement signaling is associated with one or more first downlink (DL) hybrid ARQ (HARQ) processes. Such methods include, when the NFI indicates the acknowledgement signaling was not received by the RAN node, selecting a first HARQ codebook to be used for encoding the acknowledgement signaling together with further acknowledgement signaling associated with one or more second DL HARQ processes. Such methods include, using the selected first HARQ codebook, encoding the acknowledgement signaling and the further acknowledgement signaling to obtain first encoded information and transmitting the first encoded information to the radio node via an uplink (UL) channel.
