Abstract: The present improvement essentially integrates a DC link inductance within an interphase power transformer (IPT). The integration is achieved by creating auxiliary magnetic paths for leakage inductance inside the IPT core. The magnetic path can be created, for example, by incorporating extra portions of magnetic material commonly referred to hereinafter as shunts. The IPT flux shared between windings does not cross these shunts. Therefore, this magnetic path increases the self-inductance of the IPT but does not contribute to the mutual inductance between windings. This extra magnetic path allows for leakage inductance of a much higher quantity than that achievable with a conventional IPT.

Abstract: Systems for exchanging information between a cargo handling system of an aircraft and a Power Drive Unit (PDU) are described herein. The systems include a power source provided within the aircraft and a first PDU provided within the aircraft. The power source is capable of providing DC power to the at least one PDU via an electrical power line. The power source further including a first Power Line Communication (PLC) node and the PDU further including a second Power Line Communication (PLC) node. The first PLC node being capable of communicating with the second PLC node via the electrical power line.

Abstract: An electronic social trivia network system that allows multiple parties to engage in matches of trivia contests from remote locations. The social network further permits electronic trivia access without the need for specific hardware. The network also provides means for participants to author questions and host trivia games. A related software program or “app,” designed for at personal computing or communications devices is downloadable to be installable on multiple hardware platforms therefore eliminating the need for dedicated trivia hardware. Participants in the social trivia network can chat, play trivia, create games, join games, and maintain game records.

Abstract: A system is shown for differentiating two or more cables of two or more respective appliances. The system comprises respective means in the form of tag devices for positioning on and labelling each cable, wherein each tag device is provided in a differentiated form from each other tag device. The tag devices can be pre-printed or supplied with suitable indicia for positioning thereon. Such a system for identification can allow a user to more readily identify the appliance to which the cable is connected, or in the case of use of the system for labelling and identifying containers, to identify a container and its contents. This can be useful in situations where a plurality of cables, or containers, are located in close proximity to one another.

Abstract: A container assembly of the type specifically structured for applying a predetermined liquid or solution to the fingernails of a person. A sponge material is disposed on the interior of a housing and preferably corresponds to the configuration thereof. A plurality of recesses being dimensioned and configured to receive the fingertip and accordingly the fingernail of the user are formed on the exposed surface of the sponge material in a predetermined array facilitating placement of all the fingers in various recesses. A liquid or solution such as nail biting preventative or nail strengthener is applied to the interior of the housing and the sponge material wherein the housing is filled to a level sufficient to form small pools in the bottom of each of the recesses.
