  • Publication number: 20150273779
Abstract: A press has a frame, an upper die vertically shiftable on the frame, a drive for vertically shifting the upper die on the frame, an upper holding ram vertically shiftable in the upper die, and an upper actuator connected between the upper holding ram and the upper die and operable to move the upper ram vertically relative to the upper die. There is also a lower die on the frame below the upper die, a lower holding ram vertically shiftable in the lower die, a lower actuator connected between the lower holding ram and the lower die and operable to move the lower ram vertically relative to the lower die. A bridge unit is connected between one of the actuators and the respective die for bridging an acceleration phase of the respective actuator in which the respective actuator can be accelerated to the speed of the respective ram.

  • Publication number: 20090135305
Abstract: A video system for a splicing device comprises a processor with a camera interface integrated on chip, a first and a second camera and also a selection device. The selection device has an interface output, which is coupled to the camera interface, and also a first interface input, which is coupled to the first camera, a second interface input, which is coupled to the second camera, and a control input for feeding in a selection signal. The first or the second interface input can be coupled to the interface output depending on the selection signal. Via the on-chip camera interface, it is possible both to receive image data and to output control signals for controlling functions of a camera respectively connected via the selection device.

  • Publication number: 20070264515
Abstract: A bonded structure including one or more substrates bonded together with a tackified amorphous poly-alpha-olefin adhesive composition. One method of making such a bonded structure is carried out by applying a tackified amorphous poly-alpha-olefin adhesive composition to one or more substrates at a temperature of about 170 degrees Celsius or lower, and joining the substrates to themselves or to one another. The bonded structure has a dynamic peel strength between about 400 and about 1000 grams per 25 millimeters. The bonding efficiency of the bonded structure renders the bonded structure suitable for incorporation into a variety of articles, including personal care products, health/medical products, and household/industrial product, for example.

  • Publication number: 20010034843
Abstract: A user seeking to transfer files, folders or other information to a second user can do so in a simple two-step process. The user first selects the files/folders to be transferred, and then enters an e-mail address of the destination user. The files and/or folders are packaged together in an archive, which is automatically held on a server, and a message is sent to the destination user containing an encoded http link to retrieve the file. This links is a special one-time user link that expires after the file has been downloaded. The receiver runs the file, which self extracts the files and/or folders into a destination folder of the receiver's choice. This system makes the process of moving files and folders from one computer to another simpler and overcomes critical ease-of-use issues.
