  • Publication number: 20210024920
Abstract: The invention relates to integrated DNA and RNA library preparations and methods of making and uses thereof, wherein the DNA molecules are labelled with a tag identifying the molecule as being a DNA molecule and the RNA molecules are labelled with a tag identifying the molecule as being a RNA molecule. The methods do not require physical separation of DNA and RNA. The methods output two separate libraries from DNA and RNA, respectively, which helps flexible manipulation on downstream sequencing platforms. The application also claims the DNA library and the cDNA library produced by the method and the DNA tag and the RNA tag used in the method.

  • Publication number: 20200366745
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes identifying a pre-determined number of items associated with one or more entities; transmitting item information associated with the pre-determined number of items to a client device; and determining that the client device is likely to enter a first entity of the one or more entities. The first entity is identified based on a physical proximity between the client device and the first entity. The method also includes accessing, based on the first entity, location-specific item information associated with one or more of the pre-determined number of items or one or more additional items; and transmitting the location-specific item information to the client device. The item information and the location-specific item information are configured to be used by the client device while the client device is within the first entity.

  • Patent number: 10719367
Abstract: A technology is described for executing work requests. In one example, a worker configured to execute an instance of a program code function of a defined function type that corresponds to an expected work request to execute the program code function may be initialized in computer memory, and the worker may be added to a worker pool. A worker reservation policy may determine how many workers may be held in the worker pool based in part on an anticipated demand for the workers. A work request to execute the program code function may be received, and in response, a work item may be generated for execution by the worker. The worker may be identified in the worker pool, and the worker and the work item may be assigned to a work item manager to enable the work item manager to invoke the worker to execute the work item.
