  • Patent number: 11038630
Abstract: A method performed by a wireless device (120) for handling a first transport block received from a transmitting device (101) is provided herein. The first transport block comprises a first set of code blocks. At least a first subset of code blocks has been unsuccessfully decoded by the wireless device (120). The wireless device (120) and the transmitting device (101) operate in a wireless communications network (100). The wireless device (120) determines (802), based on a first number of unsuccessfully decoded code blocks, a second number of code blocks to be allocated in a first memory (1111) of the wireless device (120), to store the unsuccessfully decoded code blocks. The wireless device (120) also allocates (803) the determined second number of code blocks. The wireless device (120) then initiates (805) storage of the unsuccessfully decoded code blocks in the first set, in the allocated determined second number of code blocks.

  • Patent number: 11018833
Abstract: A system and method to instruct a user equipment (UE) how Uplink Control Information (UCI) on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) should be transmitted with carrier aggregation. A semi-static signaling of a UCI mapping bit (via a Radio Resource Control (RRC) parameter) is used by a base station such as an eNodeB to require the UE to transmit UCI using one of two pre-determined UCI transmission modes. The bit can be decided by the base station, considering, for example, the available bandwidth or quality of different Uplink Component Carriers (UL CCs) associated with the UE. This network-based solution allows the network to either configure a general rule of UCI transmission by the UE or to enforce the UCI transmission on the Uplink Primary cell (UL Pcell). Because of the rules governing abstracts, this abstract should not be used to construe the claims.

  • Patent number: 10972985
Abstract: A system and method for determining a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) power control parameter h(nCQI,nHARQ) for two Carrier Aggregated (CA) PUCCH formats-PUCCH format 3 and channel selection. The value of h(nCQI,n HARQ) may be based on only a linear function of nHARQ for both of the CA PUCCH formats. Based on the CA PUCCH format configured for the User Equipment (UE), the e-Node B (eNB) may instruct the UE to select or apply a specific linear function of nHARQ as a value for the power control parameter h(nCQI, nHARQ), so as to enable the UE to more accurately establish transmit power of its PUCCH signal. Values for another PUCCH power control parameter-?F_PUCCH(F) are also provided for use with PUCCH format 3. A new offset parameter may be signaled for each PUCCH format that has transmit diversity configured.

  • Patent number: 10932291
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a network node 110 of a wireless communication network 100 for communicating at an unlicensed frequency spectrum with a wireless device 121 having a device identity. The network node 110 sends an access grant to the wireless device according to the device identity, granting the wireless device access to an uplink communication channel of the unlicensed frequency spectrum. The network node also receives data from the wireless device 121, on the granted uplink communication channel, the data comprising information on the identity of the wireless device 121, thus enabling the network node 110 to detect whether the wireless device that was granted access on the uplink communication channel is the same wireless device as the wireless device from which the data comprising the information on the uplink communication channel was subsequently received. Embodiments of the network node 110 are also described.
