  • Patent number: 11018573
Abstract: A system and method for power supply ripple detection is disclosed. A voltage across one or more capacitors of the power supply is measured. An AC ripple voltage component of the capacitor voltage is then filtered and rectified into a DC signal. A level of ripple represented by the DC signal is then compared to threshold values to assess a health of the power supply. In one implementation, the power supplies provide power to control panels of one or more building management systems. The power supplies determine and report information concerning health of the power supplies to the control panels, the information including the DC signal itself and the result of the comparison of the DC signal to the threshold values. A cloud-based connected services system then receives and analyzes the information concerning health of the power supplies forwarded from control panels of multiple building management systems to determine trends.

  • Patent number: 10995860
Abstract: A seal assembly for sealing between first and second tubular members includes an annular seal body disposeable within an annular gland between the tubular members and formed of a generally compressible polymeric material. The seal body has a first axial sealing surface disposed against a first tubular member end surface, a second axial sealing member disposeable against a second tubular member end surface and a recess(es) defined partially by an angled activation surface. An annular backing ring formed of a substantially rigid material is disposed the body recess to couple the backing ring with the seal body. The backing ring has an outer axial end disposeable against the first member end surface to prevent radially outward displacement of the portions of the seal at the first member end surface and is biased axially toward the first member end surface when compression of the seal body displaces the activation surface axially.

  • Publication number: 20210117992
Abstract: A session quality system collects and evaluates data from multiple user world wide web (“web”) product selection sessions and correlates the collected data with actual product purchases. The system assembles the data into a set of session profiles and assigns a score to each profile that represents a relative likelihood of purchasing the product. The system matches session data collected from future product selection sessions with a master profile. A weighted average of scores based on matched master profiles provides useful product demand information. Furthermore, the system can determine product demand with varying ranges of resolution. For example, the system can capture specific features of each product, such as color, audio system selections, and wheel types. Since these features can be common across multiple products, manufactures can expand their use of the high resolution product demand information.

  • Patent number: 10984394
Abstract: One or more devices, systems and/or methods for managing waste are provided. For example, a waste profile may be generated, based upon inputs received from a first device via a profile interface of a waste data aggregation platform. An approval notice may be received, via an approval interface of the waste data aggregation platform, from a second device. Shipping information may be entered into a plurality of digital forms of a shipping documentation interface based upon the waste profile and/or one or more inputs received from the first device and/or the second device. A shipping order for shipment of the waste may be generated. One or more notifications corresponding to the shipment of the waste may be transmitted to one or more devices associated with the shipment. The waste profile may be analyzed to generate a risk report, a sustainability report, a landfill report, a raw material source report, etc.

  • Publication number: 20210093089
Abstract: A novel lightweight, high stability ergonomic chair, enabling sitting, and leaning in a perched intermediary position between sitting and standing. An inclined saddle type seat is supported by three legs. A forward chair leg is located between the feet of, and beneath the center of gravity of the seated person. Two chair legs extend rearward. The chair permits rocking backwards, diagonally forward, and rocking about the forward chair leg. This “active seating” provides for easy transitions between sitting and standing, shifting of weight, and conveys an open positive body language. Multiple embodiments and architectures are disclosed multiple configurations including; rigid, folding, and for quick disassembly. The chairs may be constructed of various rigid and flexible materials, with optional features including; armrests, footrests, caster wheels, cushioning, and a standing desk type work surface. The chair eliminates the need for connection to a base platform beneath the user's feet.
