Publication number: 20220105219Abstract: A door handle sanitizer includes a housing that is mountable to a door and an access lid pivotally attached to the housing. An interior volume of the housing includes a dispensing mechanism having a connector disposed within the interior volume that is configured to removably receive a sanitizer refill container, and a nozzle configured to dispense a sanitizing material onto the door handle. A power supply is operably connected to a motion sensor, a timer, indicator lights, a dispensing mechanism actuator, and a control circuit. The control circuit includes control switches that allow for customization of the door handle sanitizer's spray frequency. If a timer switch is set to a timer interval, then the control circuit activates the dispenser in an interval corresponding to the selected interval. If a motion sensor switch is set to an on position, then the control circuit activates the dispensing mechanism actuator when the motion sensor detects motion.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2021Publication date: April 7, 2022Inventors: John Thompson, Laurie Richards, Daniel Richards

Patent number: 10184732Abstract: An air to air heat exchanger includes a first and a second cooling air flow passage extending over a core depth of the heat exchanger. A heated air flow passage is arranged between the cooling air flow passages, and extends over a first percentage of the core depth. Thermally conductive separators are arranged between the heated air flow passage and each of the cooling air flow passages. A first structurally reinforced section is provided between the separators, and extends from a cooling air inlet face in the core depth direction over a second percentage of the core depth. A second structurally reinforced section is provided between the separators, and extends from a cooling air outlet face in the core depth direction over a third percentage of the core depth. The sum of the first, second, and third percentages is greater than 100 percent.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2014Date of Patent: January 22, 2019Assignee: Modine Manufacturing CompanyInventors: Zachary Ouradnik, Keith Davis, Issac Dandan, Kenneth Cornell, Benjamin Ranta, Daniel Richards

Publication number: 20140058815Abstract: The systems and methods of the disclosure allow a user to take advantage of offers via a mobile application. In response to a purchase associated with the offer is made, the transaction information may be processed by the system, such that, the credit and debit associated with the purchase are transmitted to the transaction account and the merchant. The transaction information may be further processed to determine whether the particular transaction is eligible for a reward. Where the transaction is eligible for a reward, the credit and debit associated with reward are transmitted to the transaction account and the sponsoring entity. The offers may be based on the location of the mobile device and/or location of the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2013Publication date: February 27, 2014Applicant: American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc.Inventors: Mallikarj Hiremath, Jennifer McConaghy, Robin Moore, Daniel Richards, Elizabeth Skibo, Sripriya Tiku, Irene Tsernovsky, David Wolf

Publication number: 20080107871Abstract: A composite deck assembly includes a baseplate and a top plate secured to the baseplate. The baseplate is formed from a first composite matrix comprising strands of reinforcing fibers oriented in first direction and a polymer resin. The baseplate includes a plurality of ribs and a plurality of laterally extending open channels disposed between the ribs. The top plate is formed from a second composite matrix of reinforcing fibers in a polymer resin, and is secured, optionally releasably, to the baseplate so as to generally enclose at least a portion of the channels. All the reinforcing fibers in the baseplate may be limited to being either the strands oriented in the first direction or matted reinforcing fibers having a random orientation. At least one of the base section and the top plate may be translucent. The open channel configuration simplifies manufacture and lowers cost.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 7, 2008Publication date: May 8, 2008Inventor: Daniel Richards
