  • Patent number: 11962511
Abstract: User identities can managed at an organization level, instead of across multiple individual resource accounts. In a resource provider environment, access to various resources and services may require users to have identities with specific resource accounts. Users can instead be associated with organization accounts, or virtual accounts that are not associated with specific resources or services. The organization accounts are attached at the appropriate location(s) in an organizational hierarchy. A user having an organization account can project the identity in any sub-account in the organization hierarchy. This can include any lower-level resource account, or can child accounts under a relevant branch of the hierarchy. A user can validate against the organization account, and receive access to the relevant service or resources using the identity projected in the corresponding resource account.

  • Publication number: 20240118048
Abstract: Preventing freezing in a heat exchanger can include passing first and second cooling fluids through the heat exchanger, monitoring a temperature and/or pressure of the second cooling fluid entering the heat exchanger, heating the second cooling fluid entering the heat exchanger by opening a valve when the monitored temperature and/or monitored pressure is below a trigger temperature and/or trigger pressure, and closing the valve when a condition is met. The first cooling fluid can have a first freezing temperature and the second cooling fluid can have a second, lower freezing temperature. Opening the valve can cause the second cooling fluid, in gaseous phase, to mix with the second cooling fluid, in liquid phase, upstream of the heat exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20240109643
Abstract: A wing structure having a unitary body formed by a plurality of tubular sections that are arranged side-by-side and configured such that adjacent internal walls of the tubular sections create internal spar structures that substantially reduce or eliminate the need for non-integral spars, or for fasteners to attach conventional spars and ribs into the wing skins. The unitized structure formed by the plurality of tubular sections can be further overwrapped with a composite material to provide additional strength to the wing structure.

  • Patent number: 11947516
Abstract: The updating of a definition layer or schema for a large distributed database can be accomplished using a plurality of data store tiers. A distributed database can be made up of many individual data stores, and these data stores can be allocated across a set of tiers based on business logic or other allocation criteria. The update can be applied sequentially to the individual tiers, such that only data stores for a single tier are being updated at any given time. This can help to minimize downtime for the database as a whole, and can help to minimize problems that may result from an unsuccessful update. Such an approach can also allow for simplified error detection and rollback, as well as providing control over a rate at which the update is applied to the various data stores of the distributed database.

  • Patent number: 11934925
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a method performed by a classification scanner comprises receiving an electronic message and determining a classification that applies to the electronic message. The classification is determined based on an express indication from a user. The method further comprises providing a machine learning trainer with the electronic message and an identification of the classification that applies to the electronic message. The machine learning trainer is adapted to determine a machine learning policy that associates attributes of the electronic message with the classification.

  • Patent number: 11936796
Abstract: Described implementations obtain credential information including an encrypted digital identity (ID). The encrypted digital ID may include a public component of a credential and identity data. Furthermore, the credential information may include cryptographically obfuscated data based on the identity data and a private component of the credential. A proof is obtained that includes proof data. The proof data may confirm that the credential information was correctly generated. Verification of the proof data, and confirmation that the cryptographically obfuscated data is not associated in a collection of cryptographically obfuscated data, cause a computer-implemented service to issue a pseudonym. The pseudonym is usable to generate a relationship associated with a computer-implemented service.

  • Patent number: 11930018
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a method performed by a classification scanner comprises receiving an electronic message and determining whether the electronic message includes an express indication from the user indicating that a classification applies to the electronic message. In response to determining that the electronic message does not include the express indication that the classification applies to the electronic message, the message further comprises sending the electronic message to a machine learning scanner. The machine learning scanner is adapted to use a machine learning policy to determine whether the classification applies to the electronic message.

  • Patent number: 11917222
Abstract: Visual content of media programs is recognized using text-based scripts of the media programs. A script of a media program includes sets of words to be spoken by actors during the media program, and also descriptions of points of interest of the media program. A file of subtitles or captions of a media program includes sets of words actually spoken by actors during the media program along with marks or stamps of times when such words were spoken. The sets of words of a script and in subtitles or captions are processed to determine where such words align. The sets of words of the script are then marked or stamped with times from the subtitles. The descriptions may then be processed to predict the visual content from such descriptions, and times at which the visual content appears within the media program are determined from the sets of words.

  • Patent number: 11902665
Abstract: Methods and systems for calibrating a transmission electron microscope are disclosed. A fiducial mark on the sample holder is used to identify known reference points so that a current collection area and a through-hole on the sample holder can be located. A plurality of beam current and beam area measurements are taken, and calibration tables are extrapolated from the measurements for a full range of microscope parameters. The calibration tables are then used to determine electron dose of a sample during an experiment at a given configuration.

  • Patent number: 11869744
Abstract: A fluid metering system for gas independent pressure and flow control through an electron microscope sample holder includes: a pressure control system that supplies gas; an inlet line providing gas from the pressure control system to the sample holder; an outlet line receiving gas from the sample holder; and a variable leak valve that controls gas flow in the outlet line. The gas flows from an upstream tank of the pressure control system through the sample holder and variable leak valve to a downstream tank of the pressure control system due to the pressure difference of the two tanks as the variable leak valve meters flow in the outlet line. Flow rates are established by monitoring pressure changes at source and collection tanks of known volumes with gas independent pressure gauges. A method of directing the gas flow to a residual gas analyzer (RGA) is also presented.

  • Publication number: 20230418863
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems of metadata management for reviewing data from microscopy experimental sessions. Image data from an experimental session is stored in an archive at one or more filepath locations, either locally or on a network. Metadata associated with the image data is stored in a database with a reference to the filepath where the raw image is stored, such that the metadata is associated in the database with the image data. A user can perform post-experimental filtering, sorting, and searching of the underlying image data using the metadata, which allows the image data to be analyzed without duplication of the image data and without manual review of each individual image. The filtered data is presented in an interactive timeline format.

  • Publication number: 20230301466
Abstract: A blender system includes a container having a rotatable blade assembly therein, a lid covering an open end of the container, and a base with a motorized unit. When the container is coupled with the base, the motorized unit is adapted to drive rotation of the rotatable blade assembly. The lid includes a hinged actuator lever adapted to actuate the motorized unit. A detent extends from the hinged actuator lever and passes through a series of apertures and presses against a slidable actuator shaft disposed in the container and maintained in its position by a spring force, thereby depressing a switch for the motorized unit. A rotatable blade system includes cutting blade(s) and crushing blade(s). The crushing blade extends longitudinally outwardly from a hub. When the hub rotates in a first direction or second direction opposite the first direction, a face of the crushing blade is leading or trailing, respectively.
