  • Patent number: 8541515
Abstract: This invention relates to a composition and method of modifying the surface properties of polymers to produce a film or article with improved surface properties by utilizing an organo-modified polyslioxane additive. The improved surface properties for the polymer include a reduced coefficient of friction, which assists the slip and anti-blocking properties of the material, as well aiding in processing of the polymeric material. Additionally, the additive composition of this invention improves demolding and release of the polymer material from other polymeric surfaces or adhesives as well as metal molding surfaces, and allows the entire film or article formed of the polyolefin and additive to be recycled.

  • Patent number: 6367753
Abstract: An assembly of a slide to a bracket which effectuates engagement of a pony tank to a main tank of scuba diving equipment in which the assembly is achieved under spring urgency, and wherein to disengage the two tanks all that is required is finger pressure applied in opposition to the spring urgency which contributes to rapidity in the disengagement or a quick release of the pony tank from the main tank.

  • Patent number: 5913467
Abstract: A mounting system for releasably securing a pair of main scuba tanks to a wing style back plate having an upper portion and a lower portion. The system includes upper and lower band assemblies for securing the pair of main scuba tanks to the upper and lower portions, respectively, of the wing style back plate. Each of the upper and lower band assemblies includes a pair of bands, each of which passes through a bracket that mounts to the wing style back plate and releasably encircles one tank of the pair of main scuba tanks with one end thereof having a hook thereon and the other end thereof having a quick release cam buckle thereon for releasably engaging the hook.

  • Patent number: 5735719
Abstract: A combination inflatable dive flag and float that visually marks a position in a waterway where a diver is diving. The combination includes an inflatable, hollow, elongated, slender, vertically-oriented, and generally cylindrically-shaped mast tube, and a rectangular-shaped flag. The inflatable, hollow, elongated, slender, vertically-oriented, and generally cylindrically-shaped mast tube is upright extendable from the position in the waterway where the diver is diving and has an upper portion that terminates in a flat, closed, and horizontally-oriented upper end that extends out of the waterway, a lower portion that terminates in a flat, closed, and generally rectangular-shaped lower end that extends into the waterway, a generally cylindrically-shaped outer surface, and a deflated position, so that the combination inflatable dive flag and float can be deflated and rolled for transit and storage.

  • Patent number: 5636413
Abstract: A Jon Line clip that includes an elongated slender cylindrical shaft portion, a cylindrical coil portion, a smooth semi-circular portion, and a serpentine retaining portion. The elongated slender cylindrical shaft portion has a proximal end, a distal end, a diameter, and a longitudinal axis. The cylindrical coil portion lies in a plane and is made from an elongated slender rod material that has a diameter. The cylindrical coil portion extends smoothly from the proximal end of the elongated slender cylindrical shaft portion and perpendicularly upwardly from the longitudinal axis of the elongated slender cylindrical shaft portion, so that a Jon line can be secured therethrough. The smooth semi-circular portion lies in a plane and is made from an elongated slender rod material having a diameter. The smooth semi-circular portion extends smoothly from the distal end of the elongated slender cylindrical shaft portion.

  • Patent number: 4962174
Abstract: A method of producing alkoxysilethylene endblocked polydiorganosiloxane consists essentially of first reacting hydroxyl endblocked polydiorganosiloxane with an excess of a SiH compound having from 2 to 4 SiH groups in the presence of a platinum catalyst, then reacting that product with vinyltrialkoxysilane to give the desired polymer.
