  • Patent number: 12524101
Abstract: A system includes a position indicator and a processing device which enable a user to intuitively and dynamically specify dimensions and shapes of objects. The position indicator transmits a signal indicative of a pressure applied to a part of the position indicator. The processing device receives the signal indicative of the pressure applied to the part of the position indicator and signals indicative of respective positions of the position indicator. The processing device generates visualization data based on the signal indicative of the pressure applied to the part of the position indicator and the signals indicative of the respective positions of the position indicator. The visualization data defines an object that extends from a predetermined position in a direction that is based on the signal indicative of the pressure applied to the part of the position indicator.

  • Publication number: 20260010255
Abstract: A method for displaying a three-dimensional object based on user operation of a position indicator. The method includes defining a two-dimensional shape based on movement of a tip of the position indicator on an input surface; determining a direction in which the two-dimensional shape extends, based on at least one of a pressure applied to the input surface by the position indicator or an acceleration of the position indicator; generating a representation of a three-dimensional object extruded from the two-dimensional shape in the direction in which the two-dimensional shape is determined to extend; and displaying the three-dimensional object on a display.

  • Publication number: 20250320885
Abstract: An enclosure system that can include a first component, a second component, and a self-threading screw. The first component can include a first cutout, the first cutout including a first internal perimeter that defines a first cutout interface. The second component can include a second cutout, the second cutout including a second internal perimeter that defines a second cutout interface. The first cutout interface can be non-circular and include a first plurality of interface sides. The self-threading screw can include a screw thread. The self-threading screw can be threadedly-engaged with the first cutout interface and the second cutout interface to secure the first component on or within an enclosure, with a first plurality of discrete engagement portions of the screw thread threadedly engaging the first plurality of interface sides of the first cutout interface to secure the screw to the first component.

  • Publication number: 20250259397
Abstract: A method and system for three-dimensional (3D) surface sketching are provided. A 3D scanner scans an outer surface of a physical object and outputs data representative of the outer surface. A processor generates, based on the received data, a 3D model of the object and outputs a 3D rendering of the object. A display displays the 3D rendering of the object. An input device physically traces over a portion of the outer surface of the object and a tracking device tracks a positioning of the input device as the input device physically traces over the portion of the outer surface of the object. The processor receives data representative of at least one spatial position of the input device, augments the 3D rendering of the object based at least in part on the data and outputs the augmented 3D rendering to the display.

  • Publication number: 20250236667
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to methods for preventing and/or treating myeloproliferative disorders. More specifically, the myeloproliferative disorders are those associated with the presence of a frameshift mutation in the calreticulin (CALR) gene of a cell involved in the myeloproliferative disorders. The present invention also relates to immunological agents, such as antibodies, to calreticulin, methods for preventing and/or treating myeloproliferative diseases using the immunological agents, and chimeric antigen receptors having extracellular domains based on antibodies to calreticulin.

  • Publication number: 20250009414
Abstract: An improved drive shaft for controlling an end effector of surgical instrument having advantages over the prior art, specifically, the drive shaft includes two separate elongate elements, each including a flange at its proximal end for restricting the lateral movement of the drive shaft when installed within an outer shaft of the instrument. The dimensions of the flanges are such that they fit within the outer shaft with minimal clearance. This allows the drive shaft to be moved longitudinally within the outer shaft to actuate an end effector whilst minimizing any lateral movement. This consequently prevents the end effector from tilting as it is actuated. The drive members are arranged so that the flanges extend in opposite directions perpendicular to the length of the drive shaft. This helps to improve ease of assembly and provides space within the outer shaft for features such as connection wires and the like.
